  1. I'd honestly love for us to sign Werner, that season before he joined Chelsea, when all the games were behind closed doors I ended up watching quite a lot of RBL games as they happened to be on at times I could watch them. In that team, which knew how to use him, he was an absolute star. Pacey, sniffed out plenty of goals but his link up play was also top class, he absolutely made that team tick. I reckon a capable manager (not lampard ffs) that has a plan for him and likes and trusts him (not tuchel) would get a great deal more out of him than we've seen at chelsea.
  2. Same for me really, never had the problem Toms having as a result. My 51 Tele goes in at exactly the same volume as my EMG loaded explorer
  3. Since we're a real club again and some interest may have been revived in Premier League football in general as a result I thought I would create a new Fantasy PL league for us! Join here with code: gdwqiz https://fantasy.premierleague.com/
  4. I'm not so sure about that one, you obviously play with a very different setup to me generally but I feel like you'd lose a lot of the Charvels character if you had an always on compressor limiting it to match your other gear, you're squashing down a lot of dynamics there. pickup height, as blastronaut said, would make a difference if you've not done it already.

    Hobbies.

Did that in NZ first time we came out here, round the bay of islands, managed to be joined by a pod of dolphins for a while. absolutely exhausting but it is very good!
  6. Unless he is greatly dropping his wage expectations there is no way we're picking up players from PSG imo. Draxlers an odd one, always been very talented but wasting away at PSG for years
  7. Jeeeeesus no thanks, if we're getting stopgaps lets just buy Cornet and be done with it. I know hes young but his figures last season are near enough Ryan Frasers to make no difference, fuck 50 million.
  8. Shattered if that's a mood. Moved house while full of a cold over the last week, back to work tomorrow and have to go to the office because I still don't have proper internet in the new place. Very much can't be arsed.
  9. He is, and hes a bit of a shit as well but i cant help but sort of like him.
  10. Was listening to On the Continent podcast the other day and they talked about paqueta. Apparently hes very sensitive to people he likes around the club leaving, he left Milan because Leonardo had gone and now he wants out of Lyon because juninho and bruno have gone. Assuming we are in for him thats got to bode well for us over arsenal.

  12. Nah thats just matty longstaff back from his loan at mansfield
  13. Packed up all of my stuff today getting ready to move on Monday, I somehow convince myslef that I don't have that much gear and then I have to box it all up and move it and realise I'm kidding myself
  14. It probably is different but thats not why I was asking, my interested in the idea that if you are allowed to work from home that the company actually has some stake in the state of your house.
  15. Its not his report, hes passing on whats reported in the article he linked which is by Tom Parsons in the express.
  16. I know, it doesn't really change the point of what I said though. It's almost more remarkable that that deal was signed just prior to covid hitting and wiping a lot of money out of the game. 6 months prior to that Atletico signed Joao Felix for over 100 million and Griezmann went to Barca for about the same.
  17. Even if we struggle to get a forward in, I think we can all see why that is the case, we're chasing good players the markets pricing is all over the gaff as some players are still moving for the insane prices of pre-covid and then some are shifting for far less than you'd expect. The quotes of 50 million for Isak, or raphinha or diaby when Haaland moved for 70 (I know there were other fees but there would be for the others too) are nonsense. I'd love us to get one more in but if we don't I'm ok with it, we've totally rebuilt our defence after years of neglect and our midfield structure has totally changed too (albeit with only one incoming player) thats not going for two windows.
  18. Are your company liable for the air conditioning situation in your own home if you're working there rather than at an office?
  19. Moving house next week so its all change for me! Had my last session with my PT which I was genuinely sad about, hes been training me since i started just less than a couple of years ago and he's brilliant, staying as an online customer so my programming will be on an app instead but it's not quite the same. Changing gyms too! There is one of the franchise that I am a member off now where I am moving to but its a bit of a crap one, so switching to a fancier place, figured I can justify it since I've stuck to it for nearly 2 years. Still feels kind of weird, first time I've had to shift from the things I started out on as an absolute beginner.
  20. Two things from this. 1. Looks like Lewis is well in the squad so assume he'll be registered this time after his surgery was done last season. 2. The lads on the podium are all the same height once they're on it
  21. I can't see it being Zahawi either, whether he or Sunak realise it I can't see the party making the selection being stupid enough to put anyone who doesn't sound white in charge given the vote they've spent years courting.
  22. Aye i totally disagree with the pulisic shout, it's an odd one.
