  1. ah but hes a scouser, he'll nick it then blow it up
  2. Agreed. Has to be Smith first in my mind although I'd consider dropping Nolan too. I'd consider the following for the starting midfield against Everton: Routledge-----Barton-----Tiote-----Ben Afra We desperately needed a striker in the window like.. thing is, at the moment, who are you putting up top there? with our options as they are Id be playing ----------harps perch- willo-colo-jose -------tiote - barton routledge - ben arfa - jonas -------------carroll what else can we do? we dont have the players for a lot of other systems really, but we've a lot of CMs on the books we need to be playing 2 and one off carroll home or away thats a team that would go out and try to win games, its got some aggression and pace in it and enough in the more forward midfield line to press on and worry defences you can talk of dropping jonas or routledge all you like but the fact is the only position we have the luxury of dropping our "first choices" is CM since we've got so many of them around the same level, prem quality or not, who do you bring in for the wide 2?
  3. for anyone who happened to catch the championship game on BBC2 yesterday evening
  4. Just change his team badge to an Everton one. I vote for this
  5. if his online persona is anything to go by he'll be dead within 5 minutes of getting behind the wheel so youre probably right
  6. Was approaching, probably the best chance he'll get in an NUFC shirt last week at Villa and fell over. He'll leave the club without a goal. was tripped tbf but still, youd think if he was going to pick one up it wouldve been in the CCC last season
  7. Andrew

    Nolan

Need to be plAying tiote for smith and barfa for Nolan, those two changes switch the midfield from pedestrian and dangerous to onethat has pace, drive and a creative spark
  8. How did barfa look? Didn't see him on highlights obviously My iPod wants barfa to be "bargain" I like that
  9. Just seen on motd and got to give credit to gilks really kept them in it, 7 shots on target fir us to their 3 and we've lost two nil, one of those days
  10. Like I said, I think those who STILL don't appreciate the old owners are as sad as it gets. Oh, and I don't give a fuck what you think of me, because basically I was right and you know it. Nobody asked "Ken" to spout the crap he did too mate.... you dont actually seem to have posted in here before today
  11. Careful there Ken, 3 years and leazes will be right on you for that
  12. You sad sad man, as bad as stevie in the baines thread having cracks at j69 and the fish for comments from two years back except he at least didnt bump it himself
  13. Well thats all the good work for the villa result undone
  14. Think tiote is more likely to replace smith than anyone else tbh
  15. I didn't agree with you but I do fancy you, does that count? Yes Yes it does
  16. quite like this, got people agreeing with me all over the place
  17. shame mclaren got it when he did, a few more years journeying around europe with some good teams like he has been doing will have him as a perfect candidate but theres no way he'll get the job again
  18. that makes no sense though, it totally changes our system which has been effective so far routledge for barfa makes the most sense to me, wondering about tiote too if williamson is dropped ill be pissed off, our standout defensive performer so far
  19. neither does one bad tournament compared to his record across his entire carreer
  20. Not the first time you've mentioned this. Like a fucking therapy session for you this I reckon Andrew pretty much, its fucking delightful getting back at them in some way when i get the chance, wouldve been gutted if we'd lost
  21. as an aside this will be the first Halo game Ive owned
  22. there are loads to choose from and you guys keep picking that same ones over and over
