He’s a good player sitting behind a lot of excellent (or expensive) ones at Man U. if he has any substance he’ll be after an England spot for the World Cup and coming here and putting the work in would likely be a death knell for his chance of that since he would be less likely to get a move to first team football in summer.

Ok so I have had the Katana head MKII for a couple of weeks now and I am very much in the "Where has this been all my life" phase. This thing is absolutely brilliant, genuinely perfect for what I want from an amp. In addition to all its well publicised gubbins, it also seems to play better with my Kraken than Victorys own Sheriff did, the fact that its effects can come in after the loop to add to it is incredible. Bloody love it.

If that mystery target turned out to be Eriksen Id be ecstatic. We'd go from Ritchie and Shelvey to Trippier and Eriksen as our dead ball takers. I think its fair to say such a substantial upgrade in that regard in one window has never been achieved by any other team in the history of football.

That is not that true. We only have one more game in January at this point, which is in four days, then we have nothing until the 8th of Feb. If we end up needing to wait until near the end of the window to get deals done or force them through then that's ok really, not ideal but if we sign anyone now they're not that likely to have a lot of training time before needing to be chucked in against Leeds, which will have limited benefits.

This does make sense when we aren't dealing with release clauses to be fair. If our first offers were being accepted straight away people would be saying we're naive and overspending on players.
