Sunderland in eighth is the real shocker

That's my thinking, PL. I do actually attach a little value to record labels when it comes to stuff like the drum and bass when I listen to, but I wouldn't expect anything other than a speciality station to mention them on air. R6 listeners are meant to be more passionate about good music than their Radio 1 counterparts so I suppose there's that to it. Would still think a very small percentage of 6 listeners care either way about labels. The commercial aspect is a good point (even if it is the BBC in this case, I didn't think about it like that). Anyway - just a silly pet hate, doesnt matter really.

Actually work radio in general (if you tend to stick to one station throughout the week). By Friday you're absolutely sick of hearing the same playlist every day for hours on end. Thank you Spotify and Sky.FM.

Well Pardew isn't going to start utilising him properly any time soon then. Get rid.- 10610 replies

Considering doing the same to your hair?

Good stuff.

Radio6 DJs (and others) telling us what record label a particular band are on after they've played a track. Who cares? Just sounds pretentious to me.

Time to get rid of Tiote whilst the rest of the league hasn't become completely wise to his limited ability as a footballer.- 10610 replies

On that note I wonder if Hughton would have finished fifth with our squad last season?

Nice one Jonas. I'm not saying we should treat every player as if they're Messi, but I couldn't bring myself to go on something like Twitter and say something like the above to them. I might not rate them but I'll keep that to myself, whilst I support this club I'll support them too. Especially someone like Jonas, who might not be the most gifted player but does put in the hard graft and cares for the football club.

We gan win the league lyke

He's blamed everything at one point or another. Including himself, to be fair (in that interview as well, saying he made mistakes).- 10610 replies

I'm not excusing that performance but we went to Old Trafford and the Emtirates and didn't roll over. We were well beaten at Stamford Brdige too but again didn't roll over. Went to White Hart Lane and would have gotten a point if not for Bale. Norwich have rolled over a few times this season, most notably at Anfield if I recall correctly. Different circumstances today as well - Norwich had nothing to be nervy about like we did a couple of months back, and Man City have had a turbulent week and have no manager. Agree with your underlying sentiment but I think you're being a bit kind to Norwich/Hughton there.

Anyway - when is the Top Dogs celebration happening?

To be fair I think most of us thought we might get hammered.

Decent scoring record on him that guy, not sure how compatible he is with Cisse mind. Certainly a good option but by all accounts Aubameyang is the perfect foil for Cisse.
-
Good thing is it's no secret that the club are aware of how how we need striking reinforcements. Should have gotten Remy or whoever in in January but it wasn't to be. That said I've been consistently impressed by Gouffran, but he isn't the answer as a partner/alternative to Cisse.
-
Did you only watch the second half or something? Thought we were decent in the first half, without worrying their keeper too much. Certainly saw little in the first half worthy of the ire in your post. Second half we were poor, subs weren't great, but we were a team with nothing to play for against a team with everything to play for and it showed.

Going to be a number of changes in the summer, both at our club and elsewhere. Don't see a point in predicting anything now tbh. But if things stood still more or less I'd wager we'd finish 10th-12th.

No Shola tbh
