It really is, but Pardew talking to Benny there gives me some optimism!
-
He's been entirely ineffective. Definitely a Ben Arfa game.
-
West Brom pressing us well. We string passes together but just can't quite work anything through.
-
We're giving away possession very cheaply here.
-
What about Benteke? The noise surrounding him has dropped off (largely because his form has) but I reckon he's still a good player, and also potentially the sort of forward we would need. Villa would be reluctant I guess but he's young and I don't think they could argue he should cost more than £12mill or so.
-
I'd like to see him go from the start again soon but I guess Pardew has earned some faith in his judgements.
-
Across the whole season? Seems like a safe bet at this point, we'd have to hit a real sour patch of form given we're 12 points up on them, possibly 15 after today.
-
If we win today there's a very real chance we could be 9 points clear of Southampton in 9th place. Which is kinda bizarre. I'm not used to being this comfortable in decent positions. Equally if we lose, we're going to be adrift in 8th place for the coming few weeks.

If Anita is out can we not work HBA in somehow...
-
City back ahead... looks like a routine win to me.
-
Looks like Cardiff have ended up with Solskjaer. Not a bad choice but why he's opted to work with Tan is beyond me.

They were pretty dominant for the first half an hour. Swansea aren't bad but they aren't going to beat City. Or at least I hope they don't, there's no chance of us beating City if they do...

Man City are definitely going to win the league this year. I'd been rooting for Arsenal but City are just too strong. Be interesting to see how they do in Europe.
-
Milner is a good shout although he was basically forced out if I remember rightly (I may not).
-
Happy New Year everyone!
-
We can take West Brom if we take it seriously - do they even have a new manager yet? Even being away we should take it fairly comfortably. Anichebe is doubtful and there's a remote possibility that Anelka could have been banned by then..! Although I guess that would have happened today if it was going to.

True, Demba Ba is totally on the fringes at Chelsea. Not sure how that has helped his career.

I missed what the original one was so obviously can't compare, but I think it has a nice ring to it! 'Towards' is a good addition as it implies the journeying aspect of the story. It might change anyway as you flesh the story out of course, but I guess it helps to have a title framed in some form. -

I'd like write my own at some point (I work in publishing, it's hard not to pick up the writing bug) but it's finding the time and having the commitment to see it through. I do think self publishing is a good option, if you have some channels to market the book into. Alternatively you could just be writing it for yourself - which is actually how a lot of the best books are probably written. I'll keep thinking anyway and see if anything else occurs to me title-wise. Good luck! -

Is it a one off book or the start of an epic? If the latter, I think you can get away with quite short titles which can all tie into each other. If it's a one off then I think it has to be more descriptive of the book itself. For instance, if it was a series you could possibly call it something like "The Enclave Saga: New Beginnings/Enlightenment" and then release every subsequent edition with "The Enclave" prefix. I chose 'Enclave' because it's a good word that you don't see around much, but if there is a message you're seeking to communicate through the book that is more important then this should perhaps be given priority. -
It had the potential to be good though - I think the first half, where they were setting it up as all of the poor revolting against the rich, was quite appealing - but then they transformed the bad guy into some psychotic bounty hunter and it became a generic action film rather than one with an underlying poiltical message.

Oh God, my sympathies... I can't stand IKEA.

Ok that sets the scene - I think for me, the thing to work out is why the Enclave need Ailidh, or children in general, and what their overall objective is - I know it mentions restoring science, but is that the overall thrust of the book, or is the story hijacked by unforeseen events (you mentioned dark forces in your earlier passage). -
So... From this discussion I'm picking up that Jonas may or may not have a clause in his contract, depending on respective propensity among forum members for sucking crown bowls? Or something...
