Pet Friends. It's their top package because she was always liable to have health issues. They are claiming that the kennel cough caused her pneumonia, when in reality it was her really small windpipe which is genetic, so technically a pre existing condition, but there was no way of anyone knowing until something happened. £1373 last night plus the previous £700 odd, so I deffo want it back from someone. We told the breeder out of courtesy so she could keep an eye on future litters and she got proper defensive, never been an issue for her dogs blah blah. Told us to contact the kennel club if we had any issues. Well I wasn't going to but now I just might, doyle.

Got her home last night (potato quality photo - old iPad). Just got a nice fight on with the breeder and insurance for the vet bills now.

I fucking wish. That guy is personal hero. I grew up with dogs. We always had a Labrador around the house and they were typically hardy, as long as you feed and exercise them they get older and are great family dogs. I always wanted a bulldog and now me and our lass are settled we went for it, found a good KC breeder, did our research, saw the mother and father etc. But sometimes it goes wrong with these inbred dogs, it's not our fault or the breeders and especially not the puppy's. The insurance company have been nowt but fucking useless mind, so if any of you are thinking of getting a dog make sure you read the small print. Paying more for insurance doesn't mean you are covered.

So I put my foot down at the vets about the dog. We now only deal with like the den mother or whatever the fuck they are called. She has a tiny windpipe which is genetic and nowt they can do. Means she can't clear her lungs easily, she still has pneumonia but is now on a hardcore antibiotic which is designed for older dogs but will (accord to the queen alien) clear her lungs. They tested her for something called a "mega esophagus" which sounds like a Pokemon, but would explain her regurgitation ( the initial cause of the pneumonia) and she doesn't have one. So good news. Coming home tomorrow if the first night on these antibiotics goes ok, and she has to rest and be on these pills for 6 weeks to clear her lungs. Then we can look at surgical options to improve her quality of life. Fuck pet insurance companies.

The lung sweep is being done tomorrow so we should have answers then. Hopefully its a case of them identifying what is wrong and its can be fixed.

We couldnt have signed Austin because he declared his desire to stay down south last time we "tried" to sign him due to family being settled. Mitrovic is key to how we play and key to why Wijn has so many goals, he has missed chances but we play with 1 up front. So is he meant to develop sitting on the bench? Bit of a rant here, apologies in advance. I got a bulldog puppy four month ago and I am at my wits end, not with her she is an absolute star, but her illnesses and mainly vets. She cought kennel cough a while ago which is common and nothing to worry about in most dogs. Because of the way her face is, it developed into aspiration pneumonia, she spent a couple days in an oxygen tent at the vets and was let home with some anti-biotics. She has been coughing and on these pills for three fifth of her life, today we were back at the vets again and apparently we can do a bronchial flush/sweep which means we can get some fluid off her lungs and see exactly what it is she has and target it instead of broad spectrum drugs. I am annoyed for numerous reasons. When I signed up to this particular vet it was recommended by the kennel club as a bulldog specialist, I have rcently found out that the vet there who was a bulldog specialist left ages ago and now they are mainly locum vets but nobody thought to tell the KC. Also if this sweep/flush was an option why have we put a really young puppy through 3 month of medication that's done nowt and coughing/hacking, instead of doing that first? Just feel like instead of enjoying having a puppy that I have wanted since I was a teenager I am constantly worrying about her, she has been mainly a house dog for 5 months now because of her problems so now when I do try and take her out she is shit scared of everything and is behind in her socialisation.
