Krul cannot be blamed for the second goal in anyway. The first could have been closed down faster but was a proper belter. So in conclusion, they are all COWARDS and I hate them!! Sunderland.

Agreed. But you have seen it yourself, with the season we finished 5th and the other weird runs where we win 5/6 on the bounce then lose 10 on the bounce or whatever. That wasn't really because Pardew was making big or small changes to the system every week, because he wasn't. The most successful teams have a system that they usually stick to (Chelsea, Arsenal even Barcelona) I think McLaren is going to stick to this system as he sees it as a longer term issue than most supporters who by no fault of their own are more short term. Any runs for us usually started with a lucky goal/win, which improves the confidence and mood in the team and goes from there. Its all ifs and buts, but if we scored that last minute winner at Man Utd then the whole view of the season would be different imo. Very small margins at this level, whether that's a bit of good or bad luck or players who are confident.
-
Confidence is a massive issue in football, the same player can look 10 times better when he is confident in not only himself but his team mates. I think this is the main problem we are having/have had for ages. Where this confidence comes from is why certain managers make millions and not easy to fake.

Newcastle United v Sheffield Wednesday (League Cup) 23/9/15 7:45 ko

It would be pretty funny if it wasn't so bad like. It wasn't even their first choice team.. Hopefully Liverpool go out and we will get forgotten about in the press shitshorm tomorrow. -
I dunno mate, even funnier if they couldn't tbh. I know Williamson has played circa 150 games for us, more than Les Ferdinand, Tino Asprilla, David Batty and David Ginola for example. Its not good enough.
-
Canny, a suspension or injury away from Williamson starting 5 years after we bought him, in the Championship, from mighty Portsmouth, who despite being shite never played him in the year he was there.
-
Aye congrats on the bairn mate. Trolls with no charm are no fun.

Just watched the new South Park, very good.

A lot of McLarens decent football with Derby last season came with a big guy up front who would hold the ball up (Chris Martin), with a lot of advanced midfield runners going past/supporting him. Once Martin was injured his/Derbys season fell apart towards the end of last season. I am not sure this has been a constant throughout his career but I imagine having someone up top ala Mitrovic who can do that would help us. Still not going to toss my toys out of the pram atm. Individual players were not good enough today but there are some reasons, Haidara got no support from either left midfielder/left centre midfielder and a left back will always struggle against two etc. However McLaren can't be blameless and he should have identified these issues and planned for them accordingly. We will finish 13th imo.

I've taken two days off to use holidays before I lose them, nowt to do but play xbox and buy puppy gear. Still woke up at half 6. I didn't sign up to be conditioned by my work, its bullshit. Used to love a lie in. Kitchen is sparkling though so swings and roundabouts.

West Ham United v Newcastle United 14/9/15 20:00 KO (On Sky)

Thought all the players were cack last night, so discussing who was better than who achieves little. Won't be getting overly worried about it though, reckon we will improve a fair bit and be pretty comfortable all things told. -

Had a quick skeg and it appears Cisse has never in his career scored a hat-trick, never mind four. Good bet mind, I might lump on. -

What do you reckon the actual score will be CT? -
If this was the deadliest catch CT would be fucking loaded and not on the breadline.
-
I don't claim to be a political heavyweight but this debate has shown me two things. Hastily googled statistics are only useful if you actually understand statistics. CT remains king angler, long live the king.

Just paid the deposit on this little beast, sorry about the small photo Pick her up in about 2 weeks.

I did some of my basic H&S qualifications as home study while I was working. They are accredited courses though so its not just skipping through a few slides and a multiple choice at the end. Its a pretty bad way to learn mind, after a full day of work picking up the books is a chore.

Geordies almost twice as likely to kill themselves as Londoners
strawb replied to Happy Face's topic in General Chat
The only time in my life I have ever had any remotely dark thoughts were when I lived in London, I just couldn't drink out of any more jam jars. -
Totally depends on the owner but they will walk no probs if they are used to it, if you let it sit and eat then its happy to do that too. Like most dogs I imagine. Our lass works from home and I can work from home a couple of days a week or take it to some sites with me so it wont be a mad fatty. Just need to find a decent breeder and stump up the cash now.

My definition of great is different to yours therefore you can pipe us off, clown.

We do live near a fair few parks and that, honestly Bulldogs are one of the best breeds for city living from our research. They are also quite a bit bigger than a Beagle. Its either this or a kid and fuck that noise.

Haha nah they found some other mugs to do it and spent about 100 grand of council tax on a site where the residents don't pay any.
