  1. Looks like Steve Bray was behind the grooves.
  2. Listening to R5 now. Had Labour, LDs, Greens, SNP on. They say they couldn't find a single tory to agree to come on. It's only Clare McDonnell and Chris Warburton ffs, not the Spanish Inquisition. Gonna be a long 6 weeks for these fuckers.
  3. And here she comes. What a fucking obvious tory schill she is. Really hope she fucks off where she belongs at GBeebies.
  4. I like this, hope Starmer continues in this manner. Ask people how they feel at the moment after 14 years of pure shit (nobody feels good from what I can tell) and offer a positive alternative. It's my opinion this gap between the parties isn't going to narrow with the drenched gnome in charge of the other lot, depending on the manifestos, it may widen.
  5. Aye, pure gaslighting as usual. "Fully funded 2.5% of GDP to defence" was one. In reality, it's an unfunded pledge not due to be reached until the GE after this one. Every fucking word from this weasel's mouth is a mistruth in one way or another.
  6. Right, that's the 5th booked off work now and I've been on the phone to the popcorn wholesaler.
  7. When they finally managed to stop the speaker blaring out "things can only get wetter" I could hear people singing it instead. A great watch that, he was melting in the rain like the wicked witch of the west.
  8. I can barely hear the gnome cunt on the telly.
  9. There is so much ammo to use against him personally. He is so detached from reality being a billionaire for one.
  10. The more he is seen, the worse his results will be. He should fucking hide in a fridge for 6 weeks tbh. Preferably with the fridge on at full blast and locked.
  11. Have there ever been a GE election announcement that has bought so much joy?
  12. The SMB is just a genuinely funny board to me. I find the paranoia in particular fascinating, with reference to HMHM's shadowy cabal posts. A couple of examples. In their Bruce Springsteen thread today, there is the usual stuff about how the Magedia are ignoring the concert today, particularly Look North. Then there is this. Anybody see anything wrong with this signage from Park Lane interchange in Sunderland? I kid you not, there were several posters going apoplectic about it being a deliberate plot from Nexus to spread mag propaganda because it's a white font against a black background. One has pursued it further abusing nexus staff there in person (apparently they called him a sad mackem bastard ) and demanding meetings etc. Now this is just not normal behaviour but is highly amusing. Then of course we are football rivals. The decline in SAFC has been hilarious from our perspective. Unlike them, who celebrate every goal we concede, there is almost never a match thread or posts on here for them, despite them often being on Sky, because at the end of the day they are just a funny distraction. I for one am going to continue enjoying their meltdowns for many years to come.
  13. If there was a second Truss event before the GE, there will be no tories left to say that though.
  14. So that suggest no GE today. Sunak challenged about the GE at PMQ just there, doesn't sound like its happening the weasel faced gnome cunt. Anyway, if Hunt does this against IMF/OECD advice etc, wouldn't that lead to an immediate Truss situation?
  15. Can I opt for his first suggestion?
  16. Wasn't even good news today. I watch a few economists on youtube and they have all repeatedly said it's services inflation that is important, food and energy are not in control of the BoE and certainly not the government. That barely nudged today. Core inflation is still sticky as fuck. We'll get nominal interest rate cuts at best this summer. But if this is his great achievement, go for it.
  17. "The younglings". It would have been much better if Obi-wan had said "Not the bairns! Annakin has brayed the bairns!!!"
  18. Think the second of the middle ones - attack of the clones - was better than the first, although the acting from Hayden Christensen was execrable. The last of that trilogy was enjoyable despite the hammy acting. The first new one was just a pointless reboot and they needlessly killed off the the best character with the worst villain ever. I'd say overall I'm amazed at how badly they managed to fuck up a multi-billion franchise like, the many series on Disney are in general just as awful. When it comes to Sci-Fi, I tend to prefer hard sci-fi (real science) over soft sci-fi (made up bollocks). Not much of the former available though, maybe Star Trek and films like Interstellar at a stretch, or the martian, plus various dystopian films that feel like they are coming more true by the day.
  19. Needs some good old British white pudding.
  20. 30p having a normal one again.
