Rumours his plane has crashed.

You know what he's done there young Dazzler? He's comparing you to the most victimised poster ever on here and raised himself to the arch poster shit general extraordinaire champagne enema absorbing cunt ever. Yes, your thread title is absolute horse plop shite but I'll stand by you against this horrendous fenian abuse. Howay the lads.

It would be nice to think the new manager is as useless as the past 6 or whatever have been. Something fundamentally wrong with the club even decade ago Pep couldn't fix. But aye, happy for Wood.

I've had my jab but guess I could still have got it, maybe less severely. Rest. Of my family are okay so far. Got a 3 hour show to watch at the ice rink tomorrow, not what I want.

Got a wall mounted Samsung Frame TV finally. The fitting and the frame were both free (the latter on order) and a fair bit of cashback. When in art mode the TV is indistinguishable from an oil painting canvas like, I can see myself getting another of these if I can get a decent offer again. All I have to do is tidy up the single input and power cord, which is clear anyway.

Fingers crossed for you next song is Arriane Grande Santa Tell Me. Feel fucking dreadful. Was the Xmas do last night and think I've caught the lurgy. Hate feeling this shit.

Howay none of these are really Christmas films. If it's just films that tend to get played at Xmas then you could include all the bond films. One of the Christmas Carol iterations or It's a wonderful life are the main real ones. I might stretch to the Home Alones and that mysognystic one Gemmill stars in too. And the Grinch.

Chatting to an Arsenal supporting colleague at work today about the match which he watched. Without me bringing this up (which I couldn't as I didn't listen to it), he mentioned that Tyldesley's patter was rank, he was obviously biased to Liverpool.

Von Ryan's Express.

Maybe time will temper your ardour.

Aye, so the London premier was in 1977 but it wasn't released nationwide until a canny bit later, well into 1978. I definitely remember queuing round the block for it in warm weather. Or maybe I'm losing my marbles, defintiely possible. anyway, NOT A FUCKING CHRISTMAS FILM no matter how you dice it.
-
This is fucking fake news unless you went to the premier. Old man is losing his marbles.
-
Howay man, its practically the same thing. And if he said "like" T, P, & A he's not even wrong. This is how much I want an argument, I'm vicariously defending Jack Whitehall.

✅ Radio 2

Printing images on mugs, yeah, agreed. Pharma using it to engineer molecules to treat disease, not so much. Like every new technology , there's good and bad uses. Trust CT to use pick the bad uses.
-
Dunno. Anyway.... ✅ Jack Whitehall.

This needed a new thread. Topical, only 116 years old.

You live in a relatively free prosperous country and enjoy a high standard of living alongside millions of others. I'd say "winning" the cold war is quite important in that. Like it or not, we live in a world of nation states and I want the interests of mine protected.

You're That was going to be the Trump "wrong" gif but when I pressed the gif button this came up and I thought you'd appreciate it. You're wrong because there is a moral difference between serving your country and being a hired gun. You're acting in the national interest, not your own. Mrs MF can thank me later. Christ, that came out wrong.

Oy. My Dad, Murgatroid, named my brother that.

The most epic story of the year so far.

Aye, and you have know way of knowing if Google has done the calculation correctly or just plucked the result from its digital arse. I think Google is a lot worse now than it was a few years ago. The AI modules doesn't help, there's no transparency on how it find and orders results, and it is often just plain wrong. The problem with Google was it became to successful and became a virtual monopoly. Then the owners changed from being genuine innovators and motivated by this to only interested in the coin.

It's the way things are going in many sectors. I don't think people are being honest with themselves about the impact AI is going to have, we're looking at a complete revolution in how we work and the early evidence is its not going to be good. Me personally, I feel like I'm surfing a wave and just trying to get to the retirement finish line before it breaks. Nowt else you can do.
