Joking, of course. Work sucks, perfectly natural to have the fear, much more so in a new job.

Tbh I think you've just turned into a bum. 👍

I used to think some of the criticism of LK was ott but not now like. She's literally a tory schill. It's also clear from people like Maitlis she's been a big problem with the dire toon of travel in BBC political news. As much as I will take delight in her increasingly twisted gurning face on election night, I'll be watching C4.

Another Mag shirt story. Why aye.

Love the details in that. The diet Coke bottle, hay stalk, and Truss in the corner.

I do accept the criticism that Biden didn't go for Trump on day one for insurrection. This court case is easily the most trivial of all the charges he should faced years ago. Election rigging and insurrection top of the list.
-
Well he does on the latter tbf. Honestly though, US presidents will do what US presidents do. Trump, not so much. A direct impact on the UK will be the removal of the US from NATO, the end 9f democracy in the US, and fuck knows what else. Two sides of the same coin? They could hardly be any different imo. Sounds like an extreme version of the false equivalence between the Tories and Labour. Anyway, incredible news this. Let's hope it's the start of his unravelling, for all our sakes.

He's fucking shite though. Go for Rigg if you want some shits and giggles, and maybe a prospective player.

Biden represents the political hegemony. It is far from perfect but has worked for most people in the West since WW2, and actually achieved great things such as in health, education, and living standards. I think your criticism of him is a bit OTT tbh and suggesting he is worse than Trump is astonishing. Biden being reelected you won't notice much here. Trump gets elected and I can almost certainly guarantee things will get worse for all the people of Europe, including you and your family. He's a monster intent on destroying the most powerful democracy on the planet. He's a grotesque narcissistic psychopath. It was bad enough first time, next time he is unleashed and you'll be begging for someone like Biden back. I am worried tbh. For all it's flaws, I remember as a kid the US always seemed like some utopia compared with here, it was truly aspirational. Now I wouldn't go there if you paid me except for work, when I guess they are paying me. I'm essentially owned by Americans as are many of us. I just try to put it to the back of my mind, but with the UK being isolated outside the EU, outside the 3 super powers, times are more uncertain than ever before.

But but Dianne Abbot....
-
I heard MPs get less "redundancy" if they quit than if they are voted out. He says he'll be voting for Labour, not standing for them.

Has Sunak got a 5th columnist working in his comms team? 👇

I share your fears but how realistic is it that Putin would take on even a US-less NATO which still includes two nuclear powers? Given he's only managed to nibble the sides of Ukraine (so far after >2 years) I just don't think he has the capacity or capability. I see the Russian military as busted flush tbh. Iran is also an ally of Russia so if Trump did anything there it would probably drag the two into conflict anyway, while China gets the popcorn out and eyes up Taiwan. For me, it's not so much Trump that disturbs me. It is that the US public is so far gone they could let it happen in the first place - twice. I would not rule out some form of civil war at some point, a worrying prospect in a country with twice as many guns as people. The court case is win win for Trump. No chance of jail time if found guilty (victimless crime) and he will play the victim card. If he is not found guilty (much mmore likely) then he will feel vindicated. Best hope we have is for his insanity to reach new peaks in the next few months and that being enough to wake up people to his threat. Or for him to die.

Tbf to Sunak there is no easy way of answering this question but even Brent would not be this crass. God I hate this cunt.
-
But if Starmer pressurised Truss more Sunak would either look weak for continuing to ignore it, or sack her, which would cause a revolt in his own party during an election campaign. Maybe they are keeping their powder dry for the right moment, but they are not making enough about Truss at the moment imo.

They're utterly obsessed that everybody from Newcastle wears replica shirts but of course the fans of massive lads are way too classy for that. Aside from being utterly false as far as I can tell, I just find it odd that they keep on endlessly repeating the same point. Strange comfort blanket. There was some anti-social behaviour in a suburb of Sunderland the other day, and someone did some shirt counting and concluded it was the mags what done it. An example.

While the first 10 minutes of the BBC news was on Dianne Abbot tonight, why has this got no airtime at all?
-
I'd pretty much agree, I'd like an outright ban but that's not going to happen. Charging VAT should at least decrease the sector and hopefully bankrupt some of the frankly weird smaller ones. Going back to covid, it was a disgrace how the sectors diverged there, the inequalities are more acute than ever. The private school sector has utterly failed the country. Look at the cunts Eton alone has given us.

It would be really, really funny if mackem paranoia were fully justified and there really is a mysterious Tyneside Cabal. We're too lowly to be part of the ITK like, once that happens you need to leave the board like Bridget, champagne enema boy, and Quiff.
-
It's funny but the only Job interview I ever had in Sunderland, literally on the banks of the Wear, the interviewer said "We're all black and white here. I hope you're not a Mackem". Fortunately a better option came up in Newcastle where football allegiance was presumably assumed. 👍

The Final: Attack on Wembley. Surprisingly similar to documentaries on the 6th January insurrection. Utter coked up pissed up scum. Not a few dozen, thousands of the cunts. I can never truly support England because of these fuckers. Well made though, worth a watch to remind yourself how bad it was that day. Don't know how anybody wasn't killed.
