Shepherd is never going to resign, he loves the attention the job gives him too much. Not only that, but when he does finally step down (I imagine due to health problems), it is most likely that his son will take over, because NUFC is a nepotistic club, as any casual glance at the list of board members will clarify. Personally, I'd love it if someone was to buy him out, and we completely revamped the board, perhaps putting a person with a grasp of football in as chief executive. Can't see it happening though.
