1. My wife watches ER so I occasionally watch bits of it between flicking the pages of a book or magazine if I can't be arsed to go upstairs. It is utter horse shit now, and completely unrealistic I would think. Should have finished years ago when Greene died. 111891 I know, I only really watch it out of nostalgia. Still, if you think it's unrealistic you should watch House. I would rather stab myself in the eyes than watch that steaming pile of horseshit again. I like the Apprentice though, forgot about that one. 111910 I like the apprentice too. I think its for the Schaudenfraude (sp?) aspect.
2. Saw one episode and it scared the shit out of me. Decided I was better off watching Prisoner Cell Block H.
3. I've heard there is no plot that's been planned in advance and don't know if I can be arsed to watch it now. Agree about Twin peaks too. Did you know there's a bloke who is the absolute spit of Fire Walk With Me who lives in Tynemouth? I see him at the match occasionally too - scarey stuff. Edit: also TT went to pot because David Lynch didn't direct the second series iirc.

5. Maybe the yanks couldn't tell the difference. I never really got into Frasier, don't know why. If anything, I preferred cheers. Oh, and I used to fancy Kirsty Alley on Cheers. Have you seen the state of her now? God's son cried profusely!
6. That's Frasier. For the record, I never liked that much, but know loads of people who love it.
7. I'm really surprised that so many people who I think I share the same sense of humour with on here don't rate Seinfeld. I would rate it in the top 3 best ever comedies, and that includes British ones. It's genius, simple as. I suspect some people are missing the point though when they say they don't like the characters - the characters are supposed to be horrible, repugnant people - even Kramer. This is perfectly summed up in the final episode when they are sent to jail for breaking the "Good Samaritan" law. The only pity is it finished years ago and hasn't been replaced by anything as remotely funny in the US since.
8. He's not a messiah, he's a very naughty boy.
9. A shot from inside Ulrika Johnson's fanny?? 111597 The messiah sobbed! Btw, is it true HTT gave up his job as a result of this hoax? Now that is sad.
10. It looks like it's just an internet copy+paste job. I'd be slightly concerned about the focus: 2 pages on Newcastle United; 4 on the railway and 20 on golf-courses. 111410 Aye, it is. One of the most useful things about Google is it's great at detecting blatent plagiarism. None of this "dossier" is original, it's all cut and pasted from wikipedia and such. I'm not saying that it was claimed the document was original, but what a waste of time. Why on Earth would Hitzfeld want to read this gash? Peaspud has obviously spent a fair bit of time on his hoax, but at least it's given most of us a laugh as well as exposing how shoddy journalism can be (not that that's a surprise). Anyway, how do you practise irreligion? An oxymoron, Shirley. 111511 Jesus wept, no-one told you to read it and it wasn't just created for the Hitzfeld thing and again, no-one said it was an original piece or a stunning account of all things Newcastle/Geordie. I can't help feeling some of the remarks of late are borne out of petty past rivalries or some other personal agenda type shit. Get a life you sad bastards, sitting picking away at every nook and cranny of every piece of text, word, comment or whatever from the Hitzfeld thing or N.O At least Peasepud was original. 111516 If you publish something on the internet, expect criticism. I was just curious as to what the point was of making a "dossier" consisting entirely of other people's work stitched together from the internet (all unreferenced and uncredited), and more to the point, in what way did you think this was going to influence Hitzfeld? Did you really think he was going to say "Wow, Look at all ze golf courzes near Newcastle, I must zign for them?"

12. That toon dossier is quite interesting. Did you know 16% of the people of Newcastle practice irreligion, as opposed to over 70% who are Christian? Jesus wept. Edit: it's here btw in case anyone is interested. http://www.newcastle-online.com/toondoss.pdf I'm sure our German readers await the German version with bated breath.
13. Ffs, Looks like Boro in Europe again.
14. I put all my money on TaylorIQ27 © me. Oh yes, and I will claim millions of compensation if I don't win. 109316 Wasn't me. 110007 No shit.
15. Be careful Pud, remember his libido!
16. Peasepud has bought shame to the board tbh. Mods, can we ban him please? It's for the best.
17. Absolutely agree. Munch munch.
18. http://www.loerrach-zeitung.de/artikelhitz.html 109222 Cheers Isegrim. Just scnned the home page - Fußball-Ventilatoren. Mind, this is quite an elaborate hoax.
19. No one got a link to the site then?
20. Renton

Coldplay

Aye, and the standard/style is pretty much uniform accross them. For me their best tracks are: Shiver Trouble Everything's Not Lost Politik God Put A Smile On Your Face Fix You Til Kingdom Come So Parachutes wins with 3 of my favourites. 109210 The Scientist is my favourite. The first two albums were OK but I seriously cannot stand X and Y for some reason.
21. Class Aussie post Wellsy. You can't help but read the bolded bits in an Aussie accent. 109169 Jeez, was he on the thunderbox when he wrote that? [\Australian accent]
22. Has anyone got the link to the fake site, or has it been deleted? Football fans = football ventilators - class!
23. I was looking after my nephews on Friday night and they chose "Sky High" from the DVD shop. I was pretty skeptical about it but it was really good as it happens. It's a Disney film primarily aimed at kids but with plenty to give an adult a laugh too. Basically, it's a cross between the Incredibles and Harry Potter, with noticeable elements of other films like Mean girls and Pretty in Pink. So not original then, but it combined all these elements really well and probably surpassed all the films it plagiarised. So if you're baby sitting kids, or just want to watch the first decent non-animated Disney film in years, try this.
