1. Can someone explain to me why you need these licenses/qualifications to manage a football club? It's not like being a doctor where it's a matter life and death. The proof of your competence should be in the pudding as they say.
2. Bollocks. TO make it worse, I had Mrs SLP saying the bastids would win all night because 'a baby seal crawled out the river tees to the Boro box office, waddled around for a bit, then went back in the river...aaaaah...that's lucky you know.' Spawny bastids. Who does the draw for Boro in cup competitions that's what I want to know. Is it Steve Gibson? 116777 To be fair, they did beat Roma. Mind it looked like Basle took a bung last night. I blame Bombadil.
3. How many premiership sides will be nearer next year? Besides, that's not the point, they're twats with their pigbag shite etc...

I think it was probably a neccessity borne out of poverty dumbo 116240 Who's the dumbest? Me or the povvler retard that's puking up more than he takes in every time he eats? 116256 If you cook food well enough, you will kill the harmful bacteria. It will still taste like crap though, hence the spices. Alternatively, you can starve to death. Dumbo.

Aye, could be one of those strange ancient laws I suppose. Still think the combination would have been sussed anyway. 116102 Probably, mint sauce was invented by the Romans to hide the taste of rancid meat. That's another factoid for you 116111 My mum, who admittedly has a racist problem against asians (which is getting better fortunately), told me that curry was invented in India to hide the taste of rancid meat. I remain skeptical. But don't the chillis that make curry come from South America? 116117 Your mother is a wise woman, Mr Rent (apart from the fading racism, that is). Due to the heat in asia, the spice was indeed added to mask the taste of not-so-nice meat ib. 116203 Actually, I'm pretty sure Rupali's used to use hot spices to mask their putrid poultry.
7. Sounds like a canny camera. But there is a big difference (quite literally) between an SLR and an ultracompact. I have thought about getting one, but at the end of the day I'm not going to want to carry something like that around with me. It's more for serious photographers.

*dons boring old fart hat* Sweet citrus food to be had with pork originates from 15th/16th century ib. Something to do with the plentiful, yet not too nicely tasting, pork supply in England. Anyway, all pizzas are for homms and lezzas tbbh. Why can't we all just eat macho Brit food like curry ffs? 115969 I think that's lamb and mint sauce. I vey much doubt there was much citrus fruit around England in the 15th/16th century. And I didn't think pineapple was a citrus fruit. 116032 Could be right Alex, but it stems from the apple and pork I actually meant, though didn't put it across very well. Not to worry. 116042 Ah, reet. Actually, I think lamb and mint sauce was a law that was brought out to stop people eating lamb, i.e. legally you could only eat it with mint. Unfortunately it backfired as people liked the taste combination. 116044 Bollocks. Also, I found out pineapples don't grow on trees. Are they actually a fruit then? 116054 "It is impossible to look at the changes to our agricultural environment without considering the political pressures put on the farming community over the years. For instance the reason we have mint sauce with lamb is not just that it tastes nice! In Tudor times when the sheep was most valuable to the country as a provider of wool a law was passed that specified bitter herbs must be eaten with lamb - the least bitter was mint. " Source Could be bollocks but shows I didn't just make it up. 116077 I didn't think you had just made it up. But I seriously doubt that's true personally. How would you enforce it?

Btw, do pineapples grow on trees? Has anyone seen a pineapple tree?

she reads the fookin thread maan, I can just sense from here that she's been sitting seething at the fact I havent posted this already, Im heading round there for tea and frankly I aint gonna get a sniff of owt unless I either post something nice about her on here or turn up with flowers..... so this is cheaper 116007 Haven't you just blown it with this post?
15. Cinema room! I am behind the times......
16. You sound clued up LP. I feel like I'm getting increasingly getting left behind by this technology malarkey; increasingly I have to rely on friends to set up my network etc. So, has anyone got a Hal 9000 system yet? I've heard they're pretty user friendly; been out 5 years now though.
17. ANyone got a media PC? I'm thinking that might be the way forward personally.
18. How am I taking the piss? 115937 I don't understand what you mean by the Xbox not working on Macs? It's a stand alone console isn't it? Am I missing something? 115946 Luckypierre said you could stream movies and music from your PC to your Xbox. You won't be able to do that with Macs. Pay attention, double-oh-Renton! 115952 Oh. So can you set up the system to 5.1 sound etc. Sounds complicated.

20. Did anyone see that documentary about Emmanuelle college a few weeks back. Shocking and depressing. So is Blaydon an evangelical christian then? How about we put the evangelical christians up in a big fight against the fundamental muslims, to see whose God is real. Shit, forgot that was already happening.
21. I don't understand? Is Gemmill taking the piss?
22. Its dead simple, see the cable you plug into your PC from the router. You plug that into the console. I fully agree on the FPS and RTS though. Mouse and keyboard are essential. 115891 I'd have to get the house rewired to use it downstairs though. Does it have a wireless connection? 115892 Such a Meldrew! You can't be playing games over wireless, surely? The speed always suffers a bit. 115896 It shouldn't if you've got a decent connection. How am I Meldrew again?
