Cheers mate. Good day. Took the day off work with the family and went to Warkworth, river and beach walk, then Druridge Bay where I had a swim. Water was alright. Nice ice creams at Cresswell and now having tea at the Beehive in Earsdon. What a great place to live Northumberland is. I know this is the brown bread thread (canny rhyme that) but reminder to self to enjoy life while I can. 👍

The travel anomalies were a huge issue though if you just looked at a map. One reason the earlier seasons worked is because they showed the difficulties of continental and inter-continental travel. It's was the main reason dragon tits couldn't fight for the throne earlier. In later series they just completely ignored it and had people teleporting about. Particularly that awful Euron Eddie Izzard cunt who only had sailing ships ffs. Anyway, this is all well rehearsed. Got was gash in the last 2 series which stops it being the all time great.

It's a geography lesson, long shore drift in action (hastened by the storms we got non-stop last winter). The sand has ended up on Longsands, especially the South end of the beach, and half the rocks are now buried under it.
