  1. Starmer's quip at PMQs yesterday that he had a rare unsigned copy of her book was good.
  2. It's his first day back from holiday you gaffer cunt.
  3. And this is the long-term reason the tories are fucked. Virtually nobody who works and/or has a young family will vote for these cunts.
  4. My feelings too. Need to change our name to the Eider ducks, or the mallards or something. Because of this I don't see it happening. Everything else about the proposal, including widening the Tyne 3 times and somehow having a floating island on it with cars, seems plausible though.
  5. Hardly, they got a parking ticket at the bottom of my street.
  6. And isn't the issue aren't the shares virtually worthless if he sells, catch 22? I suppose he will be looking to use his ownership as leverage in taking out some loans, but what serious investor would do that?
  7. Really? The Savile thing has already happened, and yet the polls are still what they are. Meanwhile there's another skeleton falling out the tory closet literally every single day. I mean, let's analyse it. You said that some tories would be scared off voting Labour and stick with the tories. But to believe in this Savile smear, lets face it, you'd have to willfully thick as pigsht. These people are much more likely to go to Reform imo. Reform is an utter disaster for the Conservatives. Firstly, by directly taking votes. Secondly, by making Sunak tilt further right and losing the centre.
  8. Interesting. Do you not think this helps explains Starmer's ultra-cautious approach and beige policies? If Raynor is an example of the mud they've got to fling, they're fucked. In addition, these polls do not take into account the likelihood the Sun will flip for Labour when Murdoch realises he will definitely be on the losing side, as I expect it will. I don't think they take into account tactical voting either (might be wrong on that).
  9. For people who like graphs like I do, the latest IPSOS polling is existential for the tories, predicting them down to 19% and 37 seats, behind the Lib Dems on 49 who would be the official opposition. Somehow Sunak is now less popular than Liz Truss ever was, quite the achievement. People say it won't happen. Why won't it? How is it going to get better for the tories?
  10. I think politics also genuinely attracts people who enjoy the extremes of behaviour though. I mean judging by my social interactions with peers, were all as boring as fuck. I doubt any of them like paying men to piss on them.
  11. Has anyone seen this? Apparently it's legit. I knew Kwarteng had shagged Truss, always thought it odd this was never reaised as a CoI given they were in the most powerful positions of the state. Never knew he'd rattled Rudd though. As for William Wragg.....
  12. All Saints were a class above tbh. I'll be honest and say it's extremely unlikely I knocked one out over any of the Spice girls.
  13. Que sera. Winning the Conference league to get the monkey off our back would be fantastic. If fucking West Ham can do it we can.
  14. I've just done one and it has us 6th just a point behind spurs. There's a random element to it so what you really need to do is bootstrap the simulation to get a probability curve. What it does show unfortunately, not surpriingly, is that we are being biased towards NUFC in our predictions.
  15. So you have NUFC on the same points as me (and several others). Did you predict Spurs? I let the algorithm do it which it said was based on best prediction based on past form. The computer knows.
  16. Said this for a while. Best chance of winning a trophy. Realistically, we have no chance in the league or CL, and at the end of the day getting that rophy is the most important thing. Only issue I have is the Thursday kick offs completely fuck up the Saturday league fixtures.
  17. None of them were exactly fit but (at the time I thought) the worst, Sporty Spice, has aged best imo. Ironic that Scary Spice became a victim of domestic abuse too.
  18. Aye, but, one of those events was a truly historic momentous event, a true advancement for human kind. The other was just some blokes landing on a space rock.
  19. Wasn't expecting that and neither was my 10 year old.
  20. Canny. I only predicted us and the 5 teams below us, assuming Spurs upwards were uncatchable. Computer says apparently not.
  21. You're scouse and work for wykiki? This is a turn of events. I'm also applying for a new job but this new edict in the public sector of working in the office 2 days a week might scupper that.
  22. Yeah Dougle, get a fucking move on.
  23. Maybe that's what they're really building in front of the metro station? I all seriousness, just building that stack seems far from trivial to me.
