  1. Who would you class as our 3 best players?
  2. Feel like a Mackem for saying as much but would probably take a win in exchange for no more points this season. Might get half of that bargain anyway
  3. It's the same sort of thing. Vinyl is worse quality too. The 'warmth' is just the hiss you get from the needle picking up sound. It's still there when the music starts playing. CDs got a bad rap initially because in the rush to get stuff released loads of old albums were badly mastered. A properly mastered CD sounds better than vinyl ever could. I can understand a preference for the packaging or whatever though. The main advantage of vinyl is some stuff did and still does to a lesser extent only get a vinyl release. It was the only format you could DJ on but it doesn't even have that any more.
  4. Paddy could still kick the fuck out of the lot of them like.
  5. I almost want to see the Tories be the biggest single party (which looks quite likely) and to be bereft of anyone with enough seats willing to go into coalition. Could conceivably see a compromised Ed Milliband being forced into a coalition on the basis that proper PR is on the agenda. I could see an electorate going for it if it was sold right.

    Loyalty

We were in for him when he went to Blackburn. I don't blame him for opting to go there but let's not over romanticise things. Also, I wonder if he'd have stayed throughout the post-Keegan years if he hadn't had the injury at Everton because he was a very good PL player rather than world class after that. Again that's a realistic outlook rather than a criticism. I think personal ambition overriding the club you supported as a bairn is perfectly reasonable.

Like the owner not being remotely interested in the pursuit of trophies

    Bob Mills wasn't it?
  9. It's like a list you'd be impressed with if you were CT
  10. Don't think it's a wind-up like Also, whilst going to the theatre isn't my cup of char, the RSC have been coming to the Theatre Royal annually for about 40 years.
  11. Imagine how they'd go on if the Johnson situation was happening here btw. Inherently moral
  12. Surprised more don't support the mackems tbh. They've got the mentality perfected
  13. Hiding your light under a bushel there, J
  14. Anyone heard of this shit? http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toynbee_tiles
  15. I know the story behind that. The bloke with the gym, aye.
  16. TP's wummery on a par with Mike's ownership
  17. You can rely on LM to cheer you up at times like this. Or any other time for that matter
  18. I would be preparing spin friendly pitches like. Even then, we're in bother. Be nice for the likes of Ken to see an away Ashes series win for the first time I suppose
  19. I don't think you have that much control over how much you care but (although it saddens me to admit as much) I'm quite pleased I'm no longer that bothered. Obviously I want to see the team do well and I care to an extent but I was particularly struck after the last derby. I was arsed for 2 minutes after the match. Then it was 'meh'. It didn't come close to ruining my weekend. In many ways that's the regime's biggest crime but, like I say, it's better that way because the club is going absolutely nowhere
