These things always come in threes. Wonder when the next soul legend everyone already thought was dead will pop his clogs.
  3. Made Pacman look very ordinary like. Not a classic by any means but a great performance from Mayweather. Thought Manny would make it a lot tougher for him. Jim Watt was spot on when he said Mayweather would've love it to be back in the 15 round days as he was starting to take the piss.
  4. Especially with all that inbreeding
  5. People queuing for hours to see a bit of paper telling them something they already know
  6. Wish I'd got a piece of the action at 150/1
  7. Thinking about going to the final home game although ashley will probably charge about 50 quid a ticket if there's survival riding on it.
  8. Now basically relying on Sunderland not getting enough points to get past us
  9. Think the latest economic figures more or less confirm it'll be a hung parliament. Tories needed a boost and however they try to spin it, it's anything but. Hope a Labour led coalition leads to the much needed electoral reform to reengage the public
  10. Ashley is definitely not not successful
  11. That's not what you need to worry about sounding like, marra
  12. Doubt anyone in his shoes would walk We should hire a plane if he does
  13. I feel a bit sorry for Carver like. I think he's a fucking hopeless manager and far too thin-skinned and hot-headed, as well as patently lacking in the skills or experience required for the role. But it's difficult to imagine anyone in his position turning the opportunity down. He's had pretty shitty luck with suspensions and injuries and the players nit really looking like they give a fuck is only partly down to him. The club's position is clearly one of limited ambition which is bound to impact how the players perform sooner or later. Also I doubt Carver will have made much money out of football. I would bet he's the lowest paid manager in the league and he'll not have enough to walk away and retire. Especially when he'd be lucky to get a job at a level above the Northern League after this. It's the owner's fault more than anything else. He hasn't even got anyone to fall back on. Steve Stone was coaching the under 11s or something until quite recently ffs. I can understand the comments and ill feeling though. And his fucking patter man
  14. Watch the club try to blame this on the boycott.
  15. Doubt he got a pay increase for becoming manager. That's probably why he got the gig, in the short term at least. Great story btw
