It's that level of detail that separates the men from the boys in the creepiness stakes

Been on a couple of Mediterranean cruises. Both were holidays for an occasion I was invited along on rather than something I'd chosen myself. I don't think I'd be into some of the Caribbean ones some people I know have been on where you have a few days at sea but the two I went on (mainly Greek Islands but a bit of Italy / Croatia / Turkey) where you had plenty of stops were canny. The good side, i.e. seeing lots of places, is also the frustrating part because it's those places you really like that you'd also like to spend two or three nights at (at least). It's a good way of seeing places you possible wouldn't otherwise though. The food was fucking ridiculous like. The last one I went on I think I went to the gym about 14 times over the course of the 12 nights I was on it and still put on about half a stone. I was getting up, doing some cardio, then shifting a massive oval dinner plate of breakfast. By half 11 I was going over to the pizza bar. They're not really my cup of char, because of the rigid structure, but it's a good way to see a lot of places. Also, while it's not exactly sailing around the Ionian Sea in a schooner, it's still a romantic way to travel I think. And you can always go back to the places you really loved and spend more time there.

Sometimes it's better to be a lucky manager. Even SBR had his moments of fortune which worked out well. Obviously that's not a direct comparison between the two managers.

Your definition of treason is neither here nor there. What you're advocating is trying these people for something which would more than likely see them walk free at considerable expense to the taxpayer.

What absolute twaddle.

£20 a litre is approx what JD should cost. I think it's a horrendously overpriced and decidedly ordinary product. People taken in by its image are snobs. If you're going to add coke/similar to it, all the more so.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Alex replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
2 draws and a win for the 3 October games. That win was their only league win in the last 6 (haven't checked beyond that, just had a quick look on statto.com). Think it probably says a lot about the lack of candidates. Pardew should get it for his October results like. And I hate the twat.- 10610 replies

Don't really mind him. What a knacka though.

I would tend to agree but it's not really comparing like for like. The point was that you shouldn't write blends off/assume single malts are better. Something like Johnny Walker Black is a much more interesting drink than Cardhu, for example.

I see David James is bankrupt and selling off his stuff.

Yeah, it was weird. I thought they were well stuffed and lucky to keep it to 1-0. This was accentuated by the fact that they played so deep and compact. Inevitably Madrid were a little bit twitchy with only the 1-0 lead but they never really had to step up their game either. ITV made out like it was a huge moral victory. The performance was only 'decent' in the context of the opposition and how poor Liverpool have been of late.

I quite agree. I was lumping the unions in with the Labour party in general but I appreciate who voted him in / chose him over his brother.

Latest analysis on Electoral Calculus suggests Labour will fall some way short of a majority (going off the polls for the last month) and the few MPs the Lib-Dems would have wouldn't be quite enough for them to form a coalition government (with a majority anyway). Would be interesting to see what the Nats (especially North of the border) might ask for in exchange for their votes in the Commons. What a fucking joke Milliband and the Labour party are for throwing this chance away. He's barely polling better than Gordon Brown did at the last election. Still difficult to see a Tory win or beyond Labour being the biggest party but a bit of a disaster for the party all the same.

Some blends are nicer than some single malts.

I think that's true of all distilleries (i.e. chosen for their location near a good water source) because they use shitloads of the stuff.
