I agree with Craig because the other ‘big 5’ seem as though they’re doing all they can, with a complicit PL, to restrict Man City. I also agree with what Toonpack said earlier. It’s one thing having a clause where you get a percentage of a future sale on a player. But having a clause where you can buy them back at a certain price in the future just seems wrong. If you’re prepared to actually sell the player you should have to take the risk that you can’t control where they go to from then on

I suppose a more likely scenario is a middle ground where he’s still trying to put away the chances he gets but he’s keeping himself right and not busting a gut and prioritising his own fitness.
