Essentially they’re pissed off because we haven’t rolled over. Everything else is just noise
-
Probably would just create more headlines at this point.

It did start with Shankly but they 100% bought their success in the 70s and 80s. They’ve been massively successful and that’s obviously commendable. But this ‘special’ bollocks is money. If we could offer players £100k more a week than them, Man Utd, Chelsea etc could you’d soon see what really motivates players to join clubs

Got me thinking about that Irish twat on YouTube going on about Liverpool having always been one of the biggest clubs in the world. They were in the second division and had never won the FA Cup (still the biggest domestic prize then) when Real Madrid were winning their 5th European Cup
-
It’s both. But I think people mean it’s the PR route out of this. Rather than saying it’s all the agent’s fault. Although I’m in the camp he’s burnt his bridges whatever happens now.

Might be frightened to sack the dodgy cunt.

I said exactly the same last year and that it’s one of the worst things about PSR

Fair comment. They’d be favourites for the Conference though you’d think. Not a lot of money in it but it’s a legitimate European trophy. I don’t suppose there’s much money in the Europa League either -
If Liverpool come back in it’ll be last minute imo. Can’t see us having time to replace him whatever happens now. Fuck giving in to any of these cunts. If he goes it’s not in this window bar a £150m bid (which isn’t happening imo).

That’s the thing, he’s not an impact player so needs to be starting games. Good move for all parties involved I think
-
Apart from the short term issue of not having a striker (hopefully Wissa helps in that score soon) if Isak really is refusing to play then he might be doing us a favour from the point of view breaching his contract and his not having a leg to stand on legally. He’s been unbelievably poorly advised here. Not saying it’s not massively his fault too.

Thing is the Conference League is very winnable for them. Also think they’ve been treated differently than a bigger club would’ve been. But domestically they have been happy forelock tugging and voting with the elite clubs to maintain the status quo. So it’s apt they’ve fallen foul of Uefa’s rules here. And I think Guehi is a good player, but he’s a downgrade on prime VVD. It’s a canny deal for a player with a year left on his contract from Palace’s pov -
Man Utd are not going to be doing it any time soon so they’re desperate for Liverpool to be the dominant force in English football instead of Man City

Classic, ie even in their wildest fantasies it’s someone else beating the mags

Just like the 70s

It would be funny as fuck if (assuming that’s true by that absolute cunt Ornstein) we did what ewerk says and the only way Isak could afford to pay for it was by going to a Saudi club
-
Not sure how you can possibly doubt what that fella claims. He clearly tells it like it is.

Da fuq did I do?

You have to take all this clickbait with a hefty dose of salt though. I did see the BBC reporting that Liverpool were looking at Wissa btw ( you have to laugh or you’d cry)

When LIDL do their Italian weeks they do a couple of versions (one is amber coloured and the other is ‘Rosso’) that are Italian bitter alcohol free aperitifs and are very similar to Crodino. In 6 packs of the same little glass bottles

He’ll either go on a free next summer or for a fraction of the £40m they’re after in January I reckon. It would be daft to pay what palace want.

Slot was good about it. Played it down and said it was possibly one fan who didn’t realise then others shutting him up. I was out and haven’t actually seen it or the game so I don’t know how plausible that is. But at least he was trying to diffuse things. Unlike the moral indignation from the cake and eat it lot
