Leisure was our pleasure -
Nicely sums up pretty much everything that’s wrong with the media in relation to politics in this country. I do think Labour have made a few PR gaffes and have failed to communicate the reasons behind their decision making on a few occasions. But they’re inexperienced and look what they’re going up against

I hear Captain Teeb’s is canny, if you’re in that neck of the woods
-
Andy Carroll has gone to Bordeaux (who play in the 4th tier now, after administration and a double relegation). Not sure if that qualifies as a recommendation.

I can well believe it. It’s fucking crackers in Greece when you see a family of four on a moped

My lass was into them. Me not so much but I always thought she was a cool front for the band and I like her voice. I like I Don’t Want a Lover, which I think might’ve been their breakthrough hit. I’m a bit of a sucker for that bluesy slide guitar sound. Loads of people had their Southside album in the late 80s / early 90s. Probably a bit ‘coffee table’ for me at the time but I’d probably like it now.

Rings a bell actually

Whenever they do a list of things to do in Sunderland on trip advisor or whatever the SoL is about number 2 or 3 and before they get anywhere near number ten they’ve listed about 3 places that aren’t in Sunderland
-
Honestly think they don’t because they’d hardly sell any of their normal kits and training gear unless they made them very limited edition. But equally a Beckenbauer and / or firebird in plain white with black sleeve stripes and trim (and vice versa) with just the badge and trefoil would sell really well too. That retro tracksuit and hoodie is nice but it’s just a design they’ve done for a lot clubs recently rather than something that was previously done for NUFC back in the day isn’t it?
-
Is he that kid who was outed as having previously been an Arsenal fan before the takeover? Anyway, trackie top for me out if that lot. Although, I probably won’t even buy that. They should just reissue adidas versions of the kits and training gear from the 90s though iyam

I mean he’d never have tweeted that if he didn’t know it was shite too.
-
If he had a hint of subtlety about him he’d have called that Casa Santiago instead
-
I’d find it really easy to completely ignore him beyond pleasantries. Which is also far more likely to wind him up. You don’t have to fall out with the fella, but equally you’re not compelled to engage with his shite patter

Never met the bloke 👆

The Halls sold their shares when Shepherd was laid up in hospital too I think. Without telling him first.
-
KK had him lined up and he even trained with us iirc. But Ashley wouldn’t cough up the fee and that was probably the beginning of the realisation the promises wouldn’t be fulfilled. And aye, you could imagine Hippo Heed using that story and changing the details to make it about him. Funny how it’s never been mentioned once (to my knowledge at least) that Allardyce was in for him.
-
The man who made Jay-Jay Okocha into a long throw-in specialist
-
Modric is an Allardyce type of player like. The hippo-heeded fraud.
-
Him not you

Hilarious but, the more I think about it, disgraceful and deserves a retrospective ban 👍🏻

To be honest I fucking despise Arsenal, their fans generally and Arteta and their priggish hypocrisy. And I’d rather Man City won the league again than Liverpool or Arsenal, who are the only other two realistic candidates imo. Plus it just shows what they’ve accomplished by trying to make it a closed shop, ie the rest of the established teams might have an advantage over the ‘other 12’ or whatever. But they’ve also locked in Man City’s advantage over them.

Takes me back to the days of ratemypoo.com on the right

Aye. He took a load of punishment that night. Which is often overlooked, due to him winning the fight and cementing his being world champion. But even a clearly passed it Klitschko was first to the punch virtually every time they engaged in the middle of the ring and Joshua took two to land one.
