Not just ugly on the inside

The Pale Horse was good

My mate had it in a different compilation I seem to remember. He also had a couple of quality compilations from Weatherall’s very own Boys Own label

The Australia style no deal in all but name is where we’re heading if the Whitehall rumour mill is anything to go by
-
Well that definitely won’t lead to an increase in illegal immigrants

Best leave that one for a chat over a pint or three.

I do indeed

That’s absolutely where we’re going. You should see the stuff I’ve seen about the language to be used about anything Brexit related in terms of diplomacy and negotiations. Basically think Johnson driving that tractor through the proverbial Brexit and that’s roughly the tone (and the intellectual level) of it

And having the capacity to understand it

That would presumably require his having read the piece

Apparently the ‘weird’ thing according to said weirdo was the way the ‘old’ comments of his on the Internet have been scrutinised. And because he just wanted to served Her Majesty’s Government, that makes it ok. I don’t think he’s apologised or stated they were wrong things to say though, although I may have missed that. Also not only is it being suggested Cummings is seething he had to go but also that this may be the beginning of the end for him too.

Agreed. Probably prefer the later one. It includes a fair bit of his Two Lone Swordsmen stuff (with Keith Tenniswood) where they were blurring the lines between deep house, techno and electro to great effect. Then he could do stuff like Loaded, which is basically his track. He could’ve been famous but that wasn’t him. He was all about the music

Fuck! Proper legend. He actually gave up the hard stuff (or so he reckoned) a few years back but he was caning it still well into his 40s. For a while, everything he did was brilliant, the production with the likes of St Etienne, Primal Scream, One Dove. His own stuff with The Sabres of Paradise and Two Lone Swordsmen. Class DJ too.

I don’t think anything works particularly but I don’t think the back is our worst problem. Either way, if we go to 4 at the back I don’t see the traditional 4-4-2 being mooted as the solution. Main thing for me is to get Almiron and ASM as involved as possible and not have them playing wide and isolated like they have a lot of times when both have started this season
-
I’d say you’d probably be in danger of fixing the one thing that isn’t broken. 3 at the back clearly suits our centre-backs. Stick Bentaleb in front of them, have wing-backs, Sean or Matty in a more advanced role with Almiron and ASM in a free attacking role with Joelinton as the focal point. Far from perfect but about as good you’ll get from our personnel.
