  1. That makes your stance on fan apathy a bit odd when that’s been our approach under this owner for ages
  2. Could say the same for Shelvey tbf. Does very little. Scored a few goals in fairness, but I doubt that’s sustainable. Games just pass him by far too often.
  3. If you’re going to make a lot more saves than your average PL keeper it stands to reason you’ll be prone to make the odd error
  4. Good to see Phil is still thick as pig’s shit. I know we had a few players missing and it was a good point gained but another way of looking at it we rode our luck and Dubravka kept us in the game yet again.
  5. I like how they’ve just put in a stock photo of a sandwich, in case anyone didn’t know what one looked like.
  6. I thought it was fucking hilarious when I read it was just 5-a-side but it would appear it’s more or less the same group of lads (if selected / not suspended) playing each other every week. Nailed on the captains are fucking gash as well 😂
  7. That certainly appears to the case for all these royal fanatics. Although, given that lot and paedos are pretty much analogous, that shouldn’t come as any shock
  8. Jenna Jameson, there’s a blast from the past 😂
  9. Well they’re getting precisely what many of them deserve. Also I see the new Metro trains aren’t going to be built by Hitachi (Newton Aycliffe, Sedgefield constituency which of course voted Tory). Instead they’re going to be built in (where else?) Spain.
  10. Although it probably tasted better than one of his
  11. Ewerk in no way hoping Stevie is reading
  12. Also, the kind of people upset with them moving away from their public roles are probably a big part of the reason they want to do it.

And it’s only the government’s fault when it’s Labour if there are strikes
  14. It’s just doing stuff out of spite now like. Probably always was
  15. Stokes is fucking incredible like. Totally thrives on those pressure situations
  16. How can you say that? He liberated Kabul
  17. I take your point about wanting someone who questions the hypocrisy of it all. It was more of a wider comment re: his lack of pragmatism though. He gets caught up in the minutiae of how important it is to be even handed with everyone. Even if it’s going to cost him lots of votes. It’s indicative of his failure to see the bigger picture imo. It all gets back to needing someone capable of winning before even being able to think about helping people and changing things. I’m pretty much in agreement with you about that being in large part because of the ridiculous way the electorate views issues like this.
  18. The thing is, if it was still the election campaign Corbyn would’ve given the same answers. Knowing full well it would cost him more votes. It just highlights a complete lack of pragmatism on his part. Anyone within the party or in the wider electorate that wants more of the same might as well vote Tory
  19. I was thinking the same re: Thornberry. Those quotes are saved up to use against her. She was relatively close to Corbyn too so is tainted with that. I like her but she’s definitely ‘metropolitan liberal elite’ at least in terms of perception
