  1. There’s only one thing that could be funnier than the mackems being in the third tier with Burton and that’s Burton being a league above them
  2. Lambert’s another shit manager who inexplicably keeps getting jobs
  3. Their ‘potential’ laid bare there
  4. It's a very common possessive noun
  5. Heidi Allen the Conservative MP?
  6. I could never get away with the teachers who were arseholes then went on like they were your best mate when you were in 6th form or had left the school. Feel a bit bad naming names as they're probably all brown bread given what a fossil I am
  7. @ewerk You had Chairman's Reserve before? It's a lovely drop and it would be up your street I think. It's St Lucian but very similar in style to the rums you get from Barbados. It's very good value anyway but Sainsbury's and Amazon Prime both have a couple of quid at the minute. Can't go wrong for £18. It's tropically aged for 5 years (which equates to about 10-15 years ageing in a more temperate climate). Good enough to sip but makes for a very affordable mixer, especially at that price.
  8. Was listening to that last weekend.
  9. Eh? You said your borough voted Tory

  11. Yep. The likes of Owen Jones getting carried away with the campaign to win places like Wandsworth. May's making out like it's a huge win but when was the last time it wasn't held by the Tories?
  12. That's him in a nutshell though. Great at saying what's wrong but no idea how to solve problems. Problems he campaigned for in this case
  13. The silver lining here is that the Tories, despite how it's being painted, did shit. Just not as shit as some predictions.
  14. A lot of people like to say (you may have heard it mentioned by CT ) that people won't vote for a left wing government, but really it's more or less explained there. You won't win the marginal seats that you need for victory. I know I've said it loads of times before but the fptp voting system where your vote counts for much more or less depending on where you live is ridiculous
  15. Nice Nightmares on Wax tribute mix on Soundcloud:
  16. I've thought for a while he must secretly know he hasn't got much chance of getting a majority. I think, given the state of the government, yesterday's results pretty much confirmed that. I didn't vote because I didn't feel I could support someone any more who isn't going to beat the Tories and a Labour vote would essentially be a sign of approval. Like yourself I would still vote Labour in a GE but it really is time to look elsewhere. I'm not even talking about policy, it's about him now. I have a bit of time for the bloke and I think he's decent and principled but, probably more than anything else in terms of what holds him back, he lacks the sort of pragmatism required for leadership whether that be an inability or lack of desire to really to after the government when the opportunity arises or whatever. It's almost unthinkable what another term after this one of the Tories in charge could do for this country in the long run.
  17. Forgot about this but it's on iPlayer: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0b1yx6x/motd-the-premier-league-show-newcastle-united-under-rafa
  18. Don't know tbh. Do bids have to be declared in the accounts?
  19. I always quite liked him but after the last lot of injuries I think he might be finished.
