A lot of people like to say (you may have heard it mentioned by CT ) that people won't vote for a left wing government, but really it's more or less explained there. You won't win the marginal seats that you need for victory. I know I've said it loads of times before but the fptp voting system where your vote counts for much more or less depending on where you live is ridiculous

I've thought for a while he must secretly know he hasn't got much chance of getting a majority. I think, given the state of the government, yesterday's results pretty much confirmed that. I didn't vote because I didn't feel I could support someone any more who isn't going to beat the Tories and a Labour vote would essentially be a sign of approval. Like yourself I would still vote Labour in a GE but it really is time to look elsewhere. I'm not even talking about policy, it's about him now. I have a bit of time for the bloke and I think he's decent and principled but, probably more than anything else in terms of what holds him back, he lacks the sort of pragmatism required for leadership whether that be an inability or lack of desire to really to after the government when the opportunity arises or whatever. It's almost unthinkable what another term after this one of the Tories in charge could do for this country in the long run.

Don't know tbh. Do bids have to be declared in the accounts?

I always quite liked him but after the last lot of injuries I think he might be finished.

Alright, Dave

Don Goodman probably has more money

He did say that but it strikes me as like a load of bollocks to make it sound like he only had the interests of the club at heart.

That's because the older generation are, by and large, selfish cunts. I mean, not you, obviously, given you voted for Corbyn at the last election.

Depends whether they come straight back up to the Championship or not. If they struggle next season then maybe. Or maybe they'll be apathetic like they were this season. But at least they didn't get behind the team and the manager like those Mags do.

I've got Spuds family who are decent lads but even I tend to agree -

I think the fact he's behind in the polls now suggests he has little to no chance of winning the next election. The government could barely be more weak, divided or incompetent. Labour really needs someone who is able to take advantage of that. As has been said before, your policies barely matter if you're never going to get a chance to implement them

I read that the other day. It's a shame in a way because they've done things the 'right way' in terms of how they've grown into a side regular competing for the CL spots and trophies. -
Aye When the bloke offered him out there was absolutely no front about it either.
-
That is brilliant. Incidentally, what sort of twat, obviously pissed himself gets wound up by a bloke quietly drinking a beer on public transport?

Fwiw, I think he'll stay but this summer will determine whether it's just for one more year or not

It's a bit like the Nazis / DDR. Edit: or claiming to have a 32" waist

I thought you were off work due to the anxiety anyway. You need a good memory to be a good liar

Aye, there was a lad at work saying he was just a front but as I asked him, a front for what exactly? To me it was fairly obvious he was the bloke buying it. Short was desperate to sell / get rid to the extent he was willing to give it away, pay off the debt etc. so there was no need for this Donald fella to be used as a front some consortium.

The trouble is that's probably all Corbyn is ever going to be
