The link is quite an obvious one I suppose but there's a book called Killer on the Road which examines the correlation between the creation of the interstate highways and the the rise the serial killer in America.

Psychologically it must be difficult for the players to keep playing like their lives depend on it when they're safe. That sounds like it's an excuse for them not giving 100% but because of the dearth of quality in the squad and the way we need to play to get results then it must have been a long, hard season. And not without a high level of stress that comes with spending quite a lot of time in and around the bottom 3 (even when we were a few places above it we were often only 2-3 points off 3rd bottom). And following on from Adios' point re: the results, even should Ashley stay then it should make him realise we need to invest enough to ensure mid-table and push for 7th/8th/9th whereas if we'd won our remaining games he'd probably think we're nearly a Champions League side already, such is his myopic way of viewing things -

It was a bit tongue in cheek, ie great bit of skill but a large slice of luck for it to end up as it did

Putting forward the notion that there aren't targets when there's a purported aim to reduce net immigration means that at some you're going to get caught, surely Both can't be true

I can think of some other of Nobel's innovations I'd rather see him given to him

It's Sunderland so he can point at how absolutely awful they were and how little money he spent but it's definitely not done his reputation any good. They were bottom when he joined with one win and they're bottom now with 6 wins all season. He's had about 30 games to turn things around and they're marginally further away from 4th bottom than they were when he arrived.

Probably, the Welsh FA won't have much money.

It's baffling even if he thought he'd taken the Welsh side as far as he could and really wanted to get back into the day-to-day routine of club management too though. The main reasons being they were in an awful state on and off the pitch, which was hardly a secret. And there were a number of better jobs that were bound to become available (as has been shown to be the case).

Still can't understand why the fuck Coleman went there and it seemed really odd at the time as well.

Apparently he got the idea from one of the contestants at his Miss Universe pageant.
