  1. I thought it was a great fight with both of them going at it. These massive bouts can often be cagey and underwhelming. Fury looked good in the middle rounds but Usyk clearly won it in the 9th when the ref could have stopped the fight and fury was saved by the bell. How the fuck didn’t he go down The lights were out and the way he was bouncing off the ropes was comical. Glad Usyk won in after hearing Fury’s salty comments at the end. The better fighter won. Did anyone notice that Fury coach was telling him one thing when he was in his corner and his dad was contradicting him telling fury he was ahead in the fight, when he clearly wasn’t. Bizarre from old man fury and probably time to sling him from his corner
  2. continental Europe, famous for its blanket ban on pavement dining
  3. Farage will have his run in the next electoral cycle as the tories become increasingly irrelevant. Bring it
  4. He’s been a great servant. A touch of class on and off the field at the start of the rebuild who helped elevate the players around him. We have a ready made replacement with Tino. If Bayern offered a cheeky £12m you’d have to consider it
  5. I’d play Krafth at right back and schar at centre back. Trippier isn’t match fit on Wednesdays evidence
  6. we're still a work in progress and last year was an outlier. i expect another season or two of being in and around top 6 rather than top 4 as we gradually replace the ashley-era players with better quality. it's a journey. i blame the players not the manager for last night - particularly the likes of longstaff and dubravka. I love these lads but we can't get sentimental. i'd love jacob murphy to still be here when we finally win a trophy. it's not their fault they're not good enough for where we want to be. howe has worked miracles with the legacy players so far tbf - such a shame they couldn't win the league cup last season to reward them for keeping us in the premier league all those years.
  7. yeah, pope too (assuming he's fit enough as he has been on the bench) dubravka was at fault for two of their goals yesterday
  8. A resounding loss to see out an exhausting roller coaster of a season 4-0 to them. Isak with all four
  9. yeah, we blew it, sadly. Thought we played well yesterday and deserved something from the game. It was the no show at home to Brighton that fucked us. we can beat brentford away but we’re no longer in control of our own destiny. Who knows whether the players will be up for it, or whether they’ll fancy one final push when the prize is the conference league
  10. nah - 6th has gone. chelsea are beating bournemouth at home and our way form stinks. i'll be happy as long as we finish above man u
  11. Ah man, what to say that isn’t already been said? How the fuck we haven’t got anything out of that game is beyond me. Man U are lifting. We had so many chances to win it. All their goals were shit to concede from our perspective - a trippier brain fart, then an unmarked swing from a corner. Dubs should have done better for the second and the third goals. We should have had a pen, but it’s old Trafford so forget about that. Isak, Longstaff and Miggy all have to score. annoying but this game isn’t the reason we won’t finish top 6.
  12. let's drop it, lads. gemmill is clearly tyred of all the car puns
  13. a lot of chatter that fury has shed too many pounds for this fight and he won't be able to use his weight advantage to lean down on usyk in the clinch like he did to good effect against wilder
  14. right, then - who's this cunt? my money says it's mancmag
  15. he never went away - he's been hanging out with stevie, chezgiven, leazesmag, blaydon and quiff on the secret forum all these years. if you know, you know
