  3. missed my boxing class so went to 45 minute kettlebells class instead. anyone tried it? fuck me, one of the most savage ways to build muscle and get the heart rate pumping. it has russian roots so give it a go if you want to be built like one of the klitsckos.

    Fatigue

just a bath and a story. Nowt too complex. He usually goes down at night alright. Just doesn't fancy sleeping through past 5 am. He goes down about 7.30-8. We thought about putting him to bed later but you need a couplevof hours on your own to chill at night for your own sanity I reckon. Sleeping too much during the day probably, look at how long the morning and afternoon naps are on average. Our one goes down at 8am and wakes up anywhere between 7.30 and 9am. She doesnt nap in the morning and has one hour in the afternoon. When she did nap in the morning we kept it to 30 mins. You've got to find the right balance between napping and their own behaviour. We found too little daytime sleep was a nightmare as she became too tired in the evening and then there was always a major kerfuffle getting dinner/ bath/ book/ bed/ all of these sorted. Might be that. that's what i don't understand, he isn't much of a sleeper in the day eiher. he usually has three naps of around 30-45 minutes each. i read they should be napping at least three hours during the day but he's nowhere near that.

  8. Not crap, but not the best either. Basically the sort of player a team with limited resources and ambitions that extend to staying up buy in. Hope he proves us doubters wrong but when you look past his pace, I don't see much of a player .... At least, not yet. He's still young.
  9. Going boxing later. Going to need a few coffees to get through it though

    Fatigue

Fuck me, I've been utterly goosed for the past 6 months. The bairn is finally sleeping through but he still rises at 5am every day. To make matters worse, I always end up staying too late at weekends, even though I'm shagged. Well it's the weekend innit, you can't give up on life altogether. Is there any end in sight to this permanent state of fatigue or is this basically it until they're teenagers when they start sleeping all the time?
  11. don't fancy this quote either. we're still woefully short at full back and centre half, as well as midfield. “Some of our players are beginning to find their feet in this division and are beginning to blossom and I think there’s real competition in all areas." on the plus side, the midfield is looking good, with some interesting options, especially in wide areas. with ben arfa coming bacl too
  12. i'm all for him pards talking up the players to build their confidence and keep the team spirit going. but this latest quote troubles me. even if the current lot do well between now and christmas, we could still do with another quality forward brought in. "We've got real quality in a strong side and we're going to win more than we lose. My forwards are rising to the challenge of proving that I don't need to sign another striker and this team's starting to excite me."
  13. piss poor. where's the next SD logo going? he's running out of room
  14. sounds almost as bad as the 'analysis' i've just watched from alan curbishley on football first. dire
  15. i find gervais a bit irritating too but it's funny how him and merchant just call pilkington up to laugh at him
  16. the wife's out tonight. i'm babysitting. more than tempted to get cained in front of the telly after the bairn's akip. they'll be hell to pay if the mrs finds out though. hmmmm
  17. Yep. One side reeks of desperation somewhat more than the other though, no. it's a desperate situation for those on both sides that want peace, the majority as it happens. it's the fundamentalists on both sides that are the problem.
  18. Hardly needed pointing out though, did it? i think it did, going on some of the comments in this thread
  19. The settlers are morons, no doubt. I find Palestinian people who blow themselves up in public places aiming only to kill israeli civilians equally troubling. Like clee says, there are two sides to this story.
  20. A gangster flick....most are obvious that you've probably seen already but not on that list so who knows Carlitos way Goodfellas Godfather 1 & 2 Casino The departed Donnie Brasco The untouchables Lock stock and two smoking barrels Mean streets Once upon a time in America City of god Pulp fiction Intrnal affairs King of new York
  21. Mark likes Israel, I'm Palestine. Makes it much more interesting if you pick sides. Why don't they ever show the good things that happen in the day? Oh yeah, I guess the news should just be a constant list of everything that takes place everywhere, except that'd take FOREVER! People are quick to criticise America's pro- Israel propaganda and the Jewish lobby, and often with some justification. But the same critics rarely admit that the coverage in the UK, particularly on the beeb, is pro Palestinian and skewed strongly against Israel. Strange that.
  22. Plenty of law abiding Palestinians live happily in Israel in peace, alongside the Jews and are probably far happier living in a democracy than they would be if they lived in Syria, Iran or one of the other Arab states, where basic human rights are at a minimum.
  23. Exactly the sort of game we should win but usually struggle in. I'm hopeful though after our start and now ben arfa is back. I'd like to see him start just behind best and marveaux in for obertan.
  24. Bodypump on Wednesday + spin class today = jelly limbs.
