Somewhere interesting to go on holiday in December

munich and berlin are nice at christmas time too, nice chirstmas markets etc -
what? you're saying you'd date a lad with bf percentage of higher more than 6%? i'm shocked
-
it's really just a way of measuring how lean or fat you look. would you not prefer a lad with a flat stomach to love handles and man boobs? measuring body fat percentage is just a more accurate way of measuring fat loss than looking at the scales. and reading back through this thread, most who've posted are obsessed to some level about their shape of their body. women have always cared about the way their bodies look, judging by this thread, most men care these days too.
-
i tell you what mind, this drought is getting serious now innit. better start enforcing that hosepipe ban
-
most of them are lean these days too. you don't get too many fatties playing the game like you used to. they're just loaded with muscle too.
-
it's no different to talking about weight loss, which is what most people in this thread are banging on about. body fat is just a more accurate way of measuring increase in fitness and fat loss. the whole thread is gay tbh. but then most men today would be accused of being gay by their counterparts from a decade ago. lbt just took it to new levels of gayness by posting the torso of the week snap. but i bet the majority on here use face cream, moisturiser or trim body hair, even if they're too scared to admit it.

got to agree. i'm often quite shocked by the casual racism dropped into conversation i hear back home. it's all harmless stuff, nothing hateful, but not the kind of thing you'd get away with saying in polite conversation down here. london's a lot more pc. i agree it's not as friendly though. that goes without saying.

i used to live on cavendish road fish, technically balham but nearest tube was clapham south. sometimes used to have to wait on the platform for three tubes before being able to get on one, the crowds often being three or four deep. then after finally getting on, it's standing with some random's armpit in your face for half an hour. been stuck in tunnels on crowded trains after a signal failure more times than i want to remember too. basically, i'll only ride the tube now if i have to. can't stand it.
-
ps. total gay.
-
you're looking 9 or 10 per cent to me from that pic. you clearly putting the hours in down the gym. how clean do you have to eat to maintain? that's my problem. struggle big time to maintain below 12%. i guess i love my booze and guilty pleasure food a bit too much

agree with every word of that.

Pedro for me. Technically the best. Though Ben arfa could match him in time. -
not sure you've chosen the right board to make that statement!

i used to live in balham. it's nice. but the worst thing about living there - by a country mile - is the northern line. i have nightmares about using it, it's the busiest and probably the most unpleasant tube line in the city. moving to somewhere on the overground will change your life for the better. trust me. living next to a tube seems to be the be all and end all to london newbies - i'm assuming you've only been down a year or two right? once you've put in a few grueling years commuting on the tube, it becomes less important.
-
seriously mate. move away from the northern line - it'll change your life immeasurably for the better.

house prices are insane down here. one beds where i live start at about £250k. two beds will cost at least £350k. more if you want a garden and an eat in kitchen. houses start around £550k. And banks have stopped lending to first time buyers which is squeezing the rental market to insane levels. A very average one bed flat in my area will set you back over a grand a month.

been larding and boozing iit up the last couple of weekends and bodyfat is up to almost 14 per cent so hit the gym like a savage this week. kettlebells monday, circuits tuesday, boxing today with an abs superset at the end. still aiming for the promised land of 10 per cent body fat by summer. i'm not optimistic i'll get there. 11-12 per cent will do though.

Absolutely, as carried away as I'm getting, I fully expect a uefa league spot. That is still a fantastic achievement. Anything better's a bonus.

Come on Barca for fucks sake!

It's a fair cop

i think for some reason, people from newcastle tend to dislike the capital more than most. i know so many geordies that moved down and gave up after a year or so and when i return home so many old mates always bang on about how they can't imagine living down here. each to their own like but i find it weird. this place has so much to offer once you look past the touristy bits that form most peoples' opinion. i'm definitely in the minority. i love going back to newcastle but i never got so homesick like a lot of people i know who moved to london that i'd want to return after a short while of living here. i still call it home and i love going back to visit but i can't imagine ever living there again, unless i go home to retire. i honestly have no clue what i'd do for a living - or the wife for that matter - if i were to move back home right now.
-
i can't see barca not turning them over at home like

don't be put off by some of the comments KSA. if you're up for grafting and partying hard then moving to the capital will be a quality experience. the streets really are paved with gold. jobs paying £30-100k+ grow on trees down here if you're bright, which you obviously are, and work hard. they're not being handed out in quite the way they were a few years back, granted, but if you're going to get good work anywhere in the country, then this is the town to be. on the social side, it's got it all. you won't know where to start if you're a culture vulture. you mentioned you're not a raver, which is a shame as there are clubs here to cater for all tastes, but on the gig side, you're spoiled for choice too. superb bars too. so many free houses. plus there's some of the best eateries i've ever been to, from cheapo local cuisine from all over the world, way beyond the usual chinese, indian, italin staples in most cities, to some of the finest fine dining restaurants in the world. public transport - the tube particularly - is moody, the touristy parts of the west end are grim but there is so much more to the town than the parts that form most visitors' impressions. the way to think about london really is a sprawling collection of small villages and towns. living in zone 2 is good for getting to work in the city or west end but in reality, you probably won't go out in the centre that much once you've settled in to whichever 'village' you want to live in. embrace the move and it'll be the best thing you ever did.
