The words you should never put in the same sentence are Positive and Pardew. Being positive means you don't play dumb and Dummett at LB. You don't bring on Campbell as your second sub. You don't start with Gouffran. And you don't give a player who is trying to adjust to the EPL a 5 minute run out.

Fact - Pardew should be sacked now. Fact - You don't bring on a player like Armstrong in that atmosphere. Fact - Ameobi stayed on far too long Fact - You don't keep putting the ball in the air in the penalty area with a 6'8" goalkeeper. Fact - Tiote should never play another game for us - every time we moved up field he either gave the ball away or a free kick. Fact - What did Pardew expect Cabella to do in 4 minutes. Fact - Co. Colback looked like he didn't want to upset the Sunderland fans. Fact - with the only guy on the pitch who had scored a few goals, why was Perez taking corners. Fact - is there any point to Gouffran.

It is ludicrous to even try and compare HBA with Gouffran. One has a football brain the other ??????. As for defending if my life depended on it Gouffran wouldn't even be in my top 100. Like a number of French players Gouffran started off well but he soon realised that with a Manager like Pardew you do not have to maintain maximum effort so he didn't. His goals have dried up and as for defending the opposition must have a good laugh when he tries and fails miserably.

While we have a manager who prefers carthorses (aka Gouffran, Riviere, Dummett, Willo) the likes of players like Hatem never stood a chance. He needs a manager like Wenger to get the best out of him.

It is reported that Aarons has been offered a six year contract on 6 grand a week. Needless to day his agent has turned it down. So it could be that we lose one of great potential players for a pittance. When will this lot ever learn.

Did anyone expect us to do any better when they saw the team. Alnwick plays well for 45 mins. against Chelsea and Pardew starts talking about him getting a new contract. Did anyone believe that? Alnwick already knew his contract was not being renewed no matter if he played as well as Neur for the rest of the season. Darlow will be No. 2 next season with Elliot (if he stays) down to No. 3. Who is to blame for the worst performance by any Magpie Goalie in living memory. Step forward the fattest keeper coach in the EPL, Andy Woodman. Not only does he do nothing about Elliot's weight, he probably spends a max. of 5 mins. a week with Alnwick. He is a disaster as is of course his boss. So you play him in goal and just to make things worse you play the slowest defender who is unable to consistently pass a ball in Willo. Then he makes sure we don't score by playing Riviere and Gouffran. Does Pardew not know that the ONLY time Riviere EVER scored goals in the past was when he was NOT playing as a loan striker. As for Gouffran, he is a Jonas in waiting. He could have played Anita at RB with Dummett along side Colo. He could have started with Armstrong for Gouffran, played Perez in the middle and AN Other on the right.

Dummett is much better in the middle when he plays with Colo and Hiadara would have been much better than him at LB. What were Tiote, and Gouffran doing on the pitch? Pardew should know that Cisse can not play 90 minutes so instead of bringing him on as an impact sub (where he has scored his goals from) he starts him with the predictable result. Should have started with Anita, Sammy with his asthma problems can't last 90 minutes Cabella and Hiadara. Tiote was s**t as well and based on his recent performances no one will want to sign him in January. Let's hope Pardew gets permission to sign a temporary keeper like Schwarzer. Pardew has destroyed in 1 game what they had built up over the previous 9.

Jonas had a clause in his contract that if he played 1 more game it would automatically generate a new one year contract and so he went on loan to Norwich. Jonas had gone back to Argentina in October 2013 and had a successful operation and Newcastle respected his privacy. The cancer returned to his liver and so he had to go back for a further operation.

The rumour is that it was reported to Ashley that a number of people who had been given free tickets were selling them. You are obviously not aware of UEFA rules regarding Champions League advertising. Only the sponsors of the Champions League eg. MasterCard, Heineken , Gazprom are allowed to advertise inside the grounds. Yes he could sponsor the Rangers shirts with SD but that is all. Any in ground advertising for Sports Direct is banned and even if the ground was renamed SD Arena only very limited use of the name would be allowed to be used by broadcast media companies.

I have every sympathy with Jonas and his illness which will probably end his football career. At no time has Jonas blamed Newcastle for his treatment by the club. All he has said was it was neither good or bad. This is the final year of his contract and if he had played just one more game this would trigger a clause in his contract which would mean he would automatically get a new one. It was obvious that his time at Newcastle was close to the end and to keep him in some sort of condition they agreed he could go on loan to Norwich. Jonas is still a squad player but obviously because of the language problems he chose to have all his treatment in Argentina, which Newcastle agreed to and he will receive his full 60 grand a week up to the end of June this year. Whether fans believe Newcastle should or should not pay his medical bills is another matter. Clubs have players insured but that is usually only for injuries received while playing. Like everyone who can afford it, I would have thought players would have had their own private medical insurance.

Whether Colo was captain or not it would not make any difference whatsoever to Pardew. He takes advice from no one. Jonas is very near the number of games he needs to trigger a new contact. That is the only reason he is not in Pardew's 'plans'.

Rolando signed a 2 year contract in April. Bearing in mind he is only 18, why so short. Ashley should now give him a new long term contract to vastly increase his wages and increase his transfer potential, which would keep both sides happy. The vultures from Liverpool and Man. City are already hovering.

There is either a curse on us when it comes to injuries suffered through training or Ashley is employing the most useless coaches in football.
