  1. Just goes to show if you are good enough for the EPL then you can play in the Turkish 2nd division.
  2. If we can expect more of last Sunday's fiasco then we will be in serious s**t.
  3. Now Ashley, author of how to win friends and influence people, has stopped all complimentary tickets for all staff.
  4. If everyone is quite happy for our young players to go on loan to any club that asks then don't be surprised when they come back and don't make it as a first team regular. Name one player who has been on loan over the years and made the first team as a regular. Pardew is ultimately responsible for all the playing staff and unless he doesn't give a flying f**k for the young players should be the one who has the final decision on who goes on loan and where.
  5. Apology for the screw up. However, if the Manager does not have a say in who goes on loan, then who does. The groundsman, the cleaners, the office staff etc.
  6. The objective of a player going on loan is two fold. To give him more playing time and to improve his skills. Pardew is crap because he is giving the impression he couldn't give a s**t about Armstrong. To send a player on loan for 4 weeks to a club like Fleetwood is a joke. What does Pardew believe Armstrong will learn in that time? Who says he is not good enough for a Championship club? If Pardew circulated Championship clubs about the availability of certain players who knows. Going to a club like Derby with a coach like McLaren would definitely improve his play. I can see the same happening with Aarons. Dumping him in Scotland or Division 1/2. The standard of coaching overall at SJP is abysmal.
  7. Just proves how crap Pardew is sending him to Fleetwood. If he is any good he should be on loan to a Championship club with a good Manager/Coach. Have ANY of the players we have sent out on loan to the Scottish league or the lower English leagues ever come back and made it to the first team?
  8. If I was on 60 grand a week I think I could live with it.
  9. As they are officially Newcastle players, they will be probably be getting the salaries they negotiated when they signed which will be a lot more than 5k a week.
  10. Hope Newcastle had a 'sell on' clause when he went to Celtic. We sold him for £2 ,mil.
  11. Ashley is paying both their wages next season as part of the deal.
  12. The last time Celtic were one of the biggest clubs in Europe was when they won the Champions Cup and you weren't probably even born then.
  13. If you are classing Carroll as the last good player to come through then Rolando will have a problem.
  14. Just as long as there is no 'I can run 100 metres in 9.8 MINUTES', Dummett, Saylor or Obertan. Rolando could be our secret weapon as none of the City players would have seen him play although Zabaleta can be a tough nut.
  15. The situation between Ben Arfa and Pardew is not down to him being 'overweight'. It is that Hatem is prepared to stand up and tell Pradew that in the main his tactics are totally c**p and his coaching staff are well past their sell by date. A player with the ability of Ben Arfa can have very little to learn from the likes of Pardew, Carver and Stone.
  16. Ashley could bring in Messi, Rodriguez and Ronaldo and it would not make a scrap of difference. Until Ashley lances the pus filled boil that is Pardew, this club are going nowhere and that goes for the rest of the coaching staff.
  17. We all know Ashley loves a gamble and signing him would be a gamble. However, as probably no other club would be prepared to take that risk we could probably get him for 7/8 mil , reduce his basic salary and give him big bonuses on appearances and goals scored.
  18. If Colo plays, Mapou can't and vice versa. Simples. They are both left sided central defenders which is why the likes of Willo and Saylor play better with Colo. Mapou has a lot of potential and if Pardew decides to sell him this will be one player that Ashley will lose money on.
  19. Soiuthampton's ambition is the same as ours - to stay in the EPL. The only blame that can be attributed to the board is that they signed Poccho as manager. Without him they would not have finished where they did and play the style of football they did. If you were the parents of Shaw and Chambers and MU and Arsenal came knocking would you just tell their sons to stay where they were and wait for BM, RM or Barca. I very much doubt it. Chambers is on his way to Arsenal for £16 million so for two Academy full backs they will have raked in £48 million. As for the others contracts do not mean a thing today. Players have all the power and decide as when they are going to leave.
  20. This Is Pardew's 'get out' clause when things go wrong. MYM was not quite up to it and I felt he needed to go on loan. However, we have not been successful in signing a replacement and the injury to Colo looks quite serious and he will be out for some time. Meanwhile we soldier on.
  21. Pardew has told Jonas, HBA and Obertan they can all leave.
  22. Why do people go overboard about players who have just played the equivalent of Gateshead.
