The RRP for the Leap Pad ultra is £120 but everywhere has them cheaper. Amazon for £79.99. CT - I don't want him to have an iPad to watch TV on - we have a TV for that, and he's not into music massively yet. I want a child's tablet because I'm still hugely reluctant to throw technology at him at this age. He'll be asking for phones/Xbox/ DS soon enough but for now I'm happy for him to have something more age-appropriate that I can restrict.

Yeah the Innotab looks canny too but the Leap pad just shades it in the reviews I think. I refused to let my parents buy one for him last year as I thought he was too young but he'll be 5 in a couple of months and can use an iPad as well as I can. My grandparents had Sky installed recently and we found him teaching them how to use it when they couldn't find a programme they'd recorded.

Anyone's bairns got a Leap Pad Ultra and is it any good? Looking for Santa pressies..

Getting on a train, finding my reserved table/window seat occupied by 4 extremely loud, arrogant Yanks with a whole buffet spread across said table and whom I don't have the energy to challenge. Luckily I've managed to bag myself another table seat opposite a business-type bloke who is at least quiet.
