Braindead. It's been a night of ruptured bowels at work (not mine) and I presume it's been particularly muggy as it's been like working in a Chinese laundry with no windows.

There's nothing that will get rid of it particularly quickly but Anbesol liquid (from the chemists) will help anaesthetise the pain. Or you could rub raw potato on it/dab whiskey on it/ any other traditional old wives tale to see if that works.

I work every weekend. His daddy lives in Seaham so they may well be going to watch the planes down at the seafront - it saves the bother of parking and crowds further up the coast.

He's already got all of the Toy Story and Cars stuff as well as a Mikey and Sully that he got last Christmas after discovering Monsters Inc. I have a feeling it will be 'Planes' stuff this Christmas...

Monsters University. I only seem to go to the cinema to see kids films these days (barring Les Mis with manc-mag) As a Pixar geek, it was good but not one of their best. The detail was amazing but the storyline a bit flimsy. The bairn thought it was great so that's all that mattered today
