  1. bruce wouldn't recognise the truth if it walked up to him smacked him in the face with a shovel. and by the looks of him, the truth has attempted it numerous times.
  2. @Kitman @RobinRobin here you go, although quite why you'd want read it is a mystery! think the bbc had hid it away to spare the wider football community. more interesting is to click on the comments section, second one down is from a leeds supporter, quite why he can see it but not 30,000 of our own is again a mystery, except a bigger one...... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58239479
  3. I've spoken to quite a few who have, although I'd concede I've not went out me to conduct a straw poll on the actual numbers! I was basing an opinion more on the many reports of people who'd took part in relatively insipid protests like the 11th minute walk in for the west ham game less than 3 years ago or handing out leaflets outside the ground. in both cases having been given dogs abuse for doing so. anyway, whatever the numbers are in each camp/stance our support is indisputably fractured to fucking buggery and has been unable to conduct a collective stand against a man who's clearly a vindictive parasite and has been for 14 years very sad.
  4. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by hung up? I think our support is fractured, possibly to the point of it being beyond repair, but I hope not. we've got thousands who probably share my views and who've walked away. we've got thousands who probably share my views but remain. we've got thousands who probably think mike ashley is doing a good job and saved us from financial oblivion. we've got thousands who've jumped on the opportunity for a free ticket to provide a backdrop for keith bishop's crisis management pr exercise. we've got thousands who tolerate steve bruce. we're all co-exsisting but it's not particularly harmonious or even healthy is it? I feel angry, bitter, resentful but mostly saddened that ashley has managed to achieve this. does that mean hung up? I've no love for leeds united but I quite enjoyed reading this article on the bbc the other day... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58294478 as it stands we've had 14 years of ashley's football purgatory with no real sign it's about to end any time soon and if I held my hand on my heart I'd rather we replicated leeds and ashley lose tens of millions on his version of nufc then profit by even by more by selling to the saudis. it's what he deserves. we'd bounce back as leeds have and maybe then like them our support would be united and have some hope? it's fucking tragic.
  5. in fairness to michael martin he's wrote some cracking articles on the state of ashley's abomination of nufc during the last 14 years. sadly, at least in my opinion, he's then completely invalidated the time and effort he's put in to doing so by handing over his money to him for a season ticket. still, at least it's better than this drivel from one of his co-writers.... https://true-faith.co.uk/steve-bruces-position-at-newcastle-united-yes-man-good-or-bad/
  6. bit of sunday morning campervan maintenance, pissing the neighbours off with poly styrene's sheetmetal drilling voice! one of the all time classic punk albums, love it!
  7. apparently not a word of dissent chanted from the away end yesterday. no brucey giz a wave either though. something akin to the great revolt of 1381 for our passive support.
  8. I think perhaps essembee used only the wrong word in 'success' 'acceptable' would be more appropriate judging by the amount of folk who seem happy enough to facilitate ashley running the club like a branch of woolworths in its death throes.
  9. to be fair to UM I don't think he's overly fussed about how good/shite the players are or how good/shite the manager is. all that's important is that he gets to sit in a run down stadium and hand over some money to ashley once a fortnight.
  10. did you listen to the cunt on the phone in the other night? reckons he's happy with the strikers we've got in reserve should wilson be injured. that'll be 1 in 7 gayle and 1 in 10 joelinton. he's fucking insane.
  11. drive about with a husqvarna 136 and a machete on the rear parcel shelf. it's amazing how respective people are of your driving skills.
  12. do you reckon if on 13.09.08 v hull city just after ashley, wise, jiminez llambias had shit all over keegan the ground had been empty instead of a few hundred short of capacity we would've endured 14 years of this repulsive parasite? because I don't. he knew from that moment onwards he could fuck over the support with impunity and has done with relish. and it's fucking tragic.
  13. I know shit loads of newcastle supporters who've stopped going. lads who were ever present home/away/europe and with arguably an over sense of loyalty and tribalism towards the club and city. they walked away out of principle to being fucked over by vindictive cunt.. one things for certain should they return, you won't be standing on barrack road calling them gutless cunts, you fucking pathetic fat mess.
  14. 50,673 reasons why ashley is still at this club. for over 14 years he's held the supporters of what used to be nufc in utter contempt. he's stamped all over the heritage of the club and city by renaming the ground. he's ensured there can be no future extension to the ground in its historical position for his own profit. he's overseen the stadium he inherited turn in to a shabby advertising hoarding for a company with the moral compass of a dead slug. he covered the front of our shirt for years with fucking WONGA and some tacky asian online gambling site. he's ensured we're unable to compete financially with clubs of a much smaller stature by stifling our commercial revenue. he's absolutely shit all over two of the top 3 newcastle living legends of my generation in keegan and shearer. I'm amazed he hasn't come up with a plan to punish in some way those who are old enough to have sang 'my eyes have seen the glory of macdonald scoring goals' he treated the one man in benitez who offered us some hope like a cunt. he's employed despicable, sycophantic twats like pardew and bruce to lower expectations, remove the heat from himself and who will willingly discredit the supporters. rather than strengthen he's ensured another relegation battle by starting the season with a weaker squad than the previous one. he's failed to invest in the training facilities despite promises to do so till they resemble those of a non league club. he's created a gaudy presentation of a permanent signing of a loanee which was lapped up in a manner similar to that usually afforded to a team which has won a title. mind-boggling that people pay this cunt.
  15. not the bothered about the match, might listen on the radio. hugely disappointed though to be missing out on all the fun at the labour club.
  16. handy bit of information for when ashley fucks off. thank you.
  17. makes your heart sing doesn't it? I keep spontaneously bursting in to a chorus of 'brucey brucey give us a wave'
  18. sorry gents, I wouldn't normally encourage folk to sign petitions, however in particular @Gemmill and @Alex who had kind words in the past. this is snoop, our DEFRA exempted and behaviour/temperament tested pitbull enjoying his first ever run on a beach nr powfoot on the scottish solway firth. he's five. grainy long range photo but you can still see the joy on his face. it's the law that's criminal, not snoop or the wife and I for having let him experience this for the first time in his life. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/592813
  19. I reckon you're right. if he's got anything even remotely resembling a brain rattling about in his skull he'll be demanding 12 months and a £1 above the buying price . anything really to get out of this pathetic shell of a club with its current crop of halfwit, complicit supporters at the earliest opportunity.
  20. sadly waugh's renaming of the corner is the least of the problems with his tweet thing. the corner became my new home once the leazes was pulled down, loved it in there and the rivalry with the scoreboard. I'm willing to bet there was more folk in the strawberry bit yesterday than there was braincells.
