I'd love them to sign Owen like. I daresay he'd even hoodwink them with a decent start and a few goals before normal service is resumed. Hopefully they'll offer him massive wages as well. That's the way I'd see it going too tbh if it came off. He's happy to sit on the bench at Man U (and doesnt merit a start anyway so thats fair enough) but the main thing for him is he's back home in North Wales with his racehorses. I could only see him going to Sunderland for a payday that he doesnt need. Thing is you could see the greedy little bastard being tempted anyway, play well for a couple weeks, only to realise he was right he really didnt need the payday in the first place and then he's arriving at training in his helicopter again with sugar lumps in his pockets, just waiting for an injury that will see him needing lengthy treatment in that world renowned centre of recouperative medicine, North Wales.

Well they're welcome to Owen either way. Will do more harm than good I would imagine. Payday Malone fucking off after every training and fuck help them if he ever gets injured. For me he'd only be a sap to team morale if everyone else is putting in a shift.

Basically it all means nowt anyway. The club (Ashley) and it's servants (Pardew) will lie because it doesnt matter if they do. That standard was set a while back. Sometimes they'll even do it when theres no need to, it seems almost pathological tbh. They could come out with this and then sign a couple of players if they became available. Equally they could say they will or ideally would and then do absolutely nowt about it. If it happens it happens and if it doesnt it doesnt but I won't be listening to the club or Pardew for any reliable forecasts one way or another.

It's an absolutely brilliant deal if i) the player wants away anyway, and ii) it gets re-invested I hope they spunk it all on Wellbeck personally.
-
Does anyone think Wellbeck will be going back to Man U? Like shite is he good enough for them so you'd imagine there must be some aspirations of a permanent deal.

Is he a cockney? Back in London in under an hour on the train tbh. No but he said recently he wished he had've moved to Sunderland earlier cos he was enjoying his life so much. I imagine that was probably just a lie. Anyway I'm no London-o-phile, but I imagine it'd have been hard living there as he used to do and then ending up somewhere like Sunderland (even if his pad was in Toon).

Just joshing with you T-Keith. -
Both showcasing their limitations behind an actually relatively decent back four sadly.

Glad to hear that. Good holding statement in the circumstances Tom. I thought it showed inherent class, moral upstanding and no shortage of dignity. -
Cowardly little morally upstanding inherently decent bastard.

Webb can fuck off now since the World Cup tbh. He's too used to hearing about how much everyone rates him and how marvellous it was to have England represented in the World Cup final. Jesus Wept FFS He needs to start having his shortcomings highlighted more so he can have a look at his game.

Fuck's sake. Still if you don't take your chances when they're presented you're always vulnerable to conceding one even if the opposition are largely shit. As today. Derby rhetoric aside, 2 points dropped in the larger context of beating teams we should evidently beat.

Chorley? Hard lines.

No airport for his chopper mind. Helipad on top of Joplings?

Don't listen to this fucking wanksplash mate, I actually live in Trafford. What part of Manchester have you moved to like? Its actually Salford but it might as well be fucking Manchester as Deansgate is bout 1min walk from my flat. Can see the wheel and the Cathedral from the window (just to give you an idea where I mean). Oh aye, I know where you mean, up near the CIS-it's only Salford cos it's the wrong side of the river but it's slap bang in the city centre to all intents and purposes. There's loads of places in the town centre to watch the footy but I don't watch toon games there out of choice tbh cos theres always an element that drink in the city centre that want to test. Lass O'Gowrie might be a shout mind you as it's a bit more studenty (and a decent pint). Once you're in the suburbs like most pubs have a decent handful of toon fans in wherever. I'd only recommend South Manchester though tbh as North and East Manchester are both shitholes and Salford (West) is just Salford. So a shithole and red. Oh the days of the northwestmags and the Sports Cafe Happy days! Gone now that place like. And that did kick off a couple of times for non Manchester games which is what I was on about before. Did a nice bin bag size bowl of nachos all the same.

It was a watering hole for lots of seamen. Wonder if it's still there. http://www.flickr.com/photos/salfordandman...ter/2413723914/ I remember it still being open in my time but dunno if it's still there to this day.

If you've ever seen Renton's eyes it's pretty obvious he's got something to hide, like.

Surely more likely to have been a hog's eye than a sheep's eye btw

the blue lagoon - pure manky greasy scran - if you enjoyed that fish & chips you must've been well hammered! Took ye lang enough. THE WORST chippy I've ever bought something from. Am a fish and chips man normally but a got sausage n chips this one time from there. It's nee wonder the life expectancy in parts of Glasgow (Carlton?) is about 36, I was like do a get chips wi that grease. Bites in to the sausage, a thought what the fucks that, something hard like a boiled egg, looks doon, a full fuckin sheeps eye. I thought sausage was put through blenders and all the rest of it, not the stuff the blue lagoon sell. Fuckin sheeps eye, luckily we were goin home that day so a didnt need to eat owt else there. Should've left it in and itd've seen you through the week tbh.
