I hope so. I'll be straight down there with a petrol bomb if true. He probably still lives with his Mother man. J69 does. I'm not suprised. I don't think there's a house big enough for his ego AND his arcade console. And his appendage. It's so big that technically speaking he is the appendage. In more ways than one.

So the request "Can I watch?" is made merely out of scientific curiosity? Don't get me wrong, I share their fascination with poontang, I really do, but there has to be more to life than rug munching? If theyre just going to roger each other with dildos then why not get a man in to do the job?

Bit of extreme solution like, moving that is. Not saying he should move, just that he should have never moved into a house in the first place. Eh? Heating never breaks down in a flat then? I know which I prefer. Aye. Houses with stained glass windows.

If he didnt provide you with heat in winter for a whole month then the place was probably prejudicial to your health and really wasnt fit for human habitation. Thats a big breach on his part, but the solution still requires tact and diplomacy. I seriously think you need someone else to do the negotiation on your behalf as you sound like you'd perform like a complete mong on the day. No offence, like. Like who? Theres four more of you in your igloo isnt there? One of them! Seriously though I just get the impression from the way you've set out the details that you're a bit all over the place with it. If you want a decent amount back then you've got to be able to justify it and anticipate any of the arguments he might come out with. The bottom line is to be able to say how it affected your enjoyment of the property, for how long, and how this is a major breach of his side of the contract; In essence he has contracted to provide you with shelter, warmth, running water and sanitation. In return, you've contracted to pay him a certain amount for those things and, in your enjoyment of the property, to take adequate care of it. An unheated property particularly in winter would not be fit for human habitation. The Landlord will know this and will be aware this has certain legal implications but you want to be careful not to offend him by implying that he's renting out a slum. You need to strike the right balance by reasoned negotiation.

Couldnt believe Gemmill's prediction when I saw it resurrected in a thread recently (presumably to his utter dismay). More chance of Shergar winning the National tbh.

I happened upon that Ghosthunting with Girls Aloud last night but had to turn it off when wor lass came in. Was it any good? I had to turn it over 15 minutes before the end as my TV was in severe danger of a good kicking. It involved Girls Aloud running round an abandonded hospital in the dark while the crew knocked on walls pretending to be ghosts. Possibly one of the most annoying programs I've seen in a while, Yvette Fielding running round saying, "Did anyone hear that? I asked them to talk to us and I just heard them. Anyone hear it? Anyone?!" No Yvette, no one heard a fucking thing because nothing was said lying trout. Another example was when they spent about ten minutes round a ouji board with fuck all happening then Yvette says, "Channel your energy through me" and surprise surprise the glass begins to move. Yes it moved because you're pushing it you silly fucking bint! Highlights were the one with the annoying voice didn't turn up and the ginger one had the courtesy to fuck off after a while so we didn't have to look at spastic/ginger head. Most disappointing part was Yvette huddled with Girls Aloud in a dark room screaming "touch me! touch me!" and not one of the girls would oblige Balls! I was just hoping they'd be frightened out of their wits so you got to see nipples like armour piercing bullets tbf.

Greg, when I saw you'd replied, I thought the only reason you'd posted in this thread was because your wankered keyboard only allowed you to post 0's 1's etc instead of letters.

Legally you can withold a proportion of rent to offest against breaches of the Landlords side of the contract. Ie you can do that without breaching your side of the contract. Whether he's actually in breach of the contract would probably depend on whether you've actually brought the defect to his attention of course. He's not expected to be clairvoyant. I'm assuming you mean you've done this and he's taken no remedial action. I wouldnt necessarily recommend witholding rent btw-it depends on what sort of a person your landlord is/how you'll think he'll react/how much you want to carry on living there in the future etc. I'm assuming you're only on a 6 or 12 month assured shorthold tennancy in any event?
