Still not seen Capote. Glaring omission tbh.

Would do well to avoid mentioning crowds. They got 25,000 for a home league the other week. Fair comment, but I don't blame Pearce for that statistic. Biggest, bestest supported club in the world though. A modest club with much to be modest about. The fans may think differently.

Lewis was the best heavyweight in the world for years though. Good fight anyway. Enjoyed the Amir Khan one too. Aye, boxers have to talk themselves up for confidence reasons so I dont tend to criticize for that and Lewis was better than his opponents anyway so he did it with justification.

The lime one is better than the orange one but both doth their lids when blackcurrant jam is holding court. -
Also deserves a mention for calling the Man U crowd 'quiet'. Sly little stage managed dig and I respect that.

Cream then jam. Any other way is anarchy tbh. Empires have crumbled for less. One way is Cornish and the other way is Devonian iirc. I'd probably go jam then cream though tbh. NOOOOOO Its criminal!!! I'll bear that in mind. Lemon curd with clotted cream though? Not sure about that. Strawberry jam tbh. I like lemon curd tarts though. My granny used to make them for tea on a Sunday. Lemon curd with cream is lush tbf. Lemon cream buns are wicked. As for jam, it's the following, without derrogation: toast-rapsberry or blackcurrant cream&scone - strawberry alone -

PS that was feigned indignation btw Toonraider. I dont really think that. The real villains are the tourist fleecing twats who get visitors hooked on cream teas. One hit and theyve got you. -

I despise it so much i refuse to bet on it. I'd love to whip the jockeys arse for 20mins as hard as i can and see how he likes it I don't bet on it because I don't follow it really. I occasionally will if I get a tip though. It's far less cruel than transporting livestock large distances though, which happens all the time in this country. The south west is practically funded on this tbh. Blood money and they've all got their hands dirty in their innocent little chocolate box idyll. -

Yes thats true. BUT i fecking HATE any 'sport' that involves horses. I know im probably being totally unreasonable and totally unfair to the horse owners/trainers/jockeys.....but i think ALL horsey sports are cruel I have no real reason for this, except i just cant stand to watch it. I agree though I think in nature most horses would run about, jump and so on and so forth and many would eventually go lame through injury. They probably get better treatment than most animals by and large. I must have missed that episode of Planet Earth where 20 odd horses all run as fast as they can at hedges, walls etc and then try and jump over them at once. I didnt say they'd choose to do that tbf. I just meant that in nature they'd definitely all run about, jump etc etc and many would sustain injury and they'd all die as a result. In fact they'd die from injuries and ailments that they wouldnt do as a consequence of the attendant veterinary treatment of the racing/equestrian industry. I'm not a fan of horse sports btw so I'm not making excuses or trying to justify it. Just stating facts. -

No one gives a shit about show jumping tbh. If she wasn't who she was she wouldn't even be in the running. Exactly. What a fucking joke. And you can't say that her priveleged upbringing is irrelevant here because: 1) People who are stupid enough to be royalists obviously swung the voting. 2) How many lasses from Byker get the chance to ride a horse worth several hundred grand? Burn the lot of them. I ride horses and am from a pit village in Durham no one more common than me. It's less of a posh middle class sport than you would imagine. Also the stables will let anyone ride their good horses who has the talent. If a lass from anywhere showed talent the stable she rode for would supply the things she needs. Most people arent from a pit village in Durham though. By and large, basic economics means that most people don't have access to riding facilities. -

Golf is a minority sport too tbh. Wor lass was voting for Tweddle like a maniac as she went to the same gym as her as a bairn. I quite properly pointed out that Tweddle's neck was too thick to warrant first place. Where did I say it wasn't like numbnuts? Half of Norn Iron basically voted for Clarke like. I didnt say you didnt! Thats just the sort of hot-headed response I'd expect from a card carrying Paisleyite such as yourself. -
*winces* Brave man! This is one to listen to on the wireless, alone in a darkened room tbh.

Burn the lot of them. Basically agree with this, but still think she's fit. Aye, but unless you're her brother or cousin you've no chance tbh. She's nailing that rugby bloke Tindall (who was in the crowd) and I think he's only a second cousin. He was nearly in tears tho so I reckon I could take him. -

I thought exactly the same, it was so surprising Where on earth was she educated? I wouldn't be surprised if her speech wasn't specifically written to come across like that to give the Royal family are more down to Earth image. Ironically, I for one would prefer to listen to someone speak correct English than 'Friends' English. I think even 'Queens English' is prefereable.
