1. You want the truth...YOU WANT THE TRUTH??? YOU CAYN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!!
2. I thought of that and then thought there was a possibility that you were in Durham for work or something. Decided to leave well alone anyway in case I made myself look daft. 36038 I fail to see the element of risk tbh.
3. It's all a bit academic really as he almost certainly will get a year to settle in seeing as we're spent up and there isnt exactly massive competition for his place.
4. .....oh and single figures I reckon. 9,663
5. Best fans on earth bar none. And that is a scientific FACT!
6. Almost certainly not the first person to have been disturbed by the contents of Cath's underwear drawer, I'm willing to bet. 35870 Rifled through it often have we? 35871 In hindsight, a rifle would have been a sensible precaution.

It is a bit 'pink' like 35856 Full on hom-fest tbh.

This thread wants to be shot with shit!
10. I think it reflects badly on Souness and Bellamy. However, Bellamy's not here anymore and has slated us since leaving so it's a very simple equation for me.
11. Did you not see all the other options or something? Or do you just have knickers on the brain at the moment? 35804 I did see the others, but frankly every other category seemed a bit trivial in comparison. tbh.
12. I'm not knocking him in fairness, I think he's a tryer. I just don't see anything in him to suggest that he's a particularly intelligent footballer. 35387 I think labeling him a tryer is doing a massive disservice to the lad. As I say last season he came in at fullback and despite being out of position he was pretty much our best player. This season he's moved into his favoured position and he's moving on in leaps and bounds. His positioning and judgement is getting better all the time. Against Manure he was exceptional. But at his age he is going to have ups and downs and there will come a time where for his own good he will need to be left out of the team for a few games. This is the way it is for all young players and like I said earlier, for a centre half he is extremely young and as yet he has very little experience. He may or may not turn out to be an international class player but as far as I can see he has good ability on the ball, is strong in the tackle, better in the air than any defender we've had in recent memory, he is a natural leader and I believe he is showing signs that the parts of his game he needs to learn (positioning, patience and not diving in) he can improve on (something Bramble never looked like until he played alongside Boumsong). His biggest problem may end up being that he has to learn all by himself as we don't have any decent coaches to help him. Perhaps Roder might be able to help there! Someone like Caldwell is what I would call a tryer. Taylor looks a far better prospect than that. 35800 Fair enough assessment and well argued mate - it's just a question of instincts I suppose. My instinct is that he will not become one of England's best centre halves. I don't doubt he'll carve out a good Premiership career-he is certainly that good for my money- but nowt special beyond that. And as I say, will always struggle against the top players. You're right what you say though-if i'm wrong and he does make it to the top of the pile then it will be in spite of the set up at the Toon because we're currently offering nothing to develop him as a player (apart from match practice obviously)
13. aug 31st "this doesn't sound like your average breaking and entering - this sounds like family & friends to me" it is just so sad and bloody depressing........... it really gets to me that someone could desperate (and stupid) that they would do this 35736 Wow well done Rob. Guess what? It didn't sound like your average breaking and entering to me either, on the basis it involved a baby being killed. Of course you omit the fact that your speculation about it being an everyday house fire with tragic consequences appear to be wrong especially given the fact you advised people not to jump the gun on this one. 35764 He certainly covered his bases with his constant (yet according to him ill-advised) speculation. Love the way he quotes himself though. "Look at me. I'm THAT good". 35771 This board has always been a veritable haven for split personalities/personality disorders though. In fact I think it's all the funnier for it as they tend to be the most entertaining. Which makes it increasingly annoying that posters like Asprilla's Foreskin, Sima and Wacky Junior have now 'gone straight' as it were. They intrigue me the most - blaze onto the scene talking an absolute tirade of bollocks then realise they like the place and have to undergo a complete identity overhaul. ...speaking of which Glasgow Mag hasn't been on for a while.
14. As Tom said, it should have been Ashington. Two Hail Marys and see me after class. 35029 Try Ashington Aquarium and you're getting there 35130 Listen, you pair of bastards. It's my joke and it's staying as it is!! 35448 But Cath, no one will laugh. I can't see you go through the pain. 35454 It's true. She's no Lenny Henry, like tbh.
15. In my defence I was too busy thinking about giving Linda Evangelista one that night. 35440 (It was Barthez he beat though wasn't it? Or am I losing my mind?) 35445 Barthez used to go out with Linda Evangelista. 35449 I realise that you shitehawk! Just couldnt remember for sure whether it was actually Barthez in the France goal for the free kick.

17. Stuff-and-nonsense! Has to be seen in the true context of him taking 1000 free kicks per game and missing nearly all of them by a country mile. Complete fluke! 35401 I saw Carlos play in the flesh last year and he put in one of the worst performances I have ever seen at the top level (Real Madrid). But you can't deny that free kick was possibly the best ever, and as I am sure he intended it, it was no fluke. 35408 Aye, he meant it like, but he must have been the most surprised person in the entire ground to actually see it go in. 35410 So, he meant it, but it was a complete fluke eh? You gobshite! 35411 Go and ask him to do it again 35412 On the basis that it was probably the best free kick ever, no one has done it before or since. Go and ask Shearer to do it 35421 Fair enough like, you got the best view of it after all.
18. What? Shite hair? 35399 Fair comment like. It was bad! 35403 It was a bit ginga tbh. 35418 Strawberry blonde if you dont mind, you daft bint!

Complete fluke! 35401 I'm judging it purely on what it was, a class freekick. 35404 You havent got the hair you were born with, Alex! ..brains..BRAINS, I meant brains!
