Ah, but the closer he edged towards the gold, the further the bus tipped. Result? gold slides further away / bus falls to doom.

The suggestion was that from a football point of view the referee was happy for the game to go ahead, however he had been 'leaned on' by the authorities.

According to Radio Newcastle the stadium was fit for use and the pitch could have been cleared and was playable. The problem was 50000+ people descending on the city centre with the current weather/road conditions. It should have been called off at 5.30 tbh Hope everyone makes it home safely.

Think this mornings Journal had a couple of digs as well. Along the lines of "gambling on fitness" and "risk backfiring" regarding the decision to play Taylor. Also saw Taylor quoted somewhere as saying he knew from the first minute his shoulder wasn't right and he shouldn't be on the pitch.

Most of the Liverpool fans I know are cunts. No better than ManU glory supporters, just from a decade earlier.

Why didn't they put an anti-reflection coating on the screen? Its virtually unusable outdoors.

Puts things into perspective. My thoughts are with you and your family.

So your saying people who went to public school can't possibly know anything about football. Isn't that reverse snobbery?

Alan can go and work on the telly in a swap-deal where Adams comes here and sorts our defence out. -
Another "future England boss" could be in contention, in Alan Curbishley... 70976[/snapback] Curbs doesn't want to move North though does he? And the prospect of Allardyce doesn't set my pulse racing either.
