  1. Correct. Supposedly looking to release a rap album now.
  2. Is that any way to run a country though? What are the chances of some form of electoral reform being pushed through, then we have another go in say, six months? It's how Europeans have been doing it for decades though. That doesn't make it right though.

  4. Any idea who the other four were out of interest? Wesley Ngo Baheng, Frank Wiafe Danquah, Jonny Godsmark, Darren Lough and Callum Morris were all out of contract.
  5. In keeping with tradition?
  6. Aye, Alan won a comfortable majority, Tynemouth only had a 0.4% swing to the tories! This means that there are still NO tories in the NE, in fact it's solid red apart from Redcar. This has been a total and utter tory FAIL. Can't say I'm happy though, in some ways its just about as bad a result for stability as could have happened. I can't see any coalitions working, and the country is more polarised than ever before. What next? We should all be concerned. Redcar only fell because the Lib Dems ran a massive campaign there knowing that Vera Baird was so unpopular for saying/doing fuck all during the closing of the steelworks and for not being Mo Mowlam.
  7. Does it sound different to a normal explosion?
  8. Yeh people can't complain. It's enough time to get there and pop a card in a box. Tbf, if you dont get in from work until after 6pm (I dont normally get in until after 6pm) and the queue is already very long, then its hardly surprising. I work about 3/4hour away from home and its not like I could nip out at lunch to do it. I'm sure I'm not alone. Bring kids, tea time and the bedtime routine into the equation and the evening is gone All joking aside, I think its a little churlish to blame people for not getting there early enough when I can think of several reasons why people could be delayed. What time do you start? ( )
  9. Some woman has just been on saying she went to vote after work but there was a bit of a queue so she thought she'd pop back later. The vibration you can feel is Emily Pankhurst doing 15000 rpm underground.
  10. Sheffield's returning officer blaming a load of students for rolling in out of the pub without their polling cards for holding things up.
  11. I have a feeling it is. With the Tories specifically mentioning job cuts in the public sector you wouldn't think they'd get so many votes in NE. Good point. Anyone in jobs connected to the civil service or NHS in this area should be feeling a bit wary.
  12. Is there a vid up yet on any news sites?
  13. All polling stations should have shut at 10pm on the dot. If people have made it by then - tough shit. They've had 15 hours to vote FFS and the option of postal voting! What if you got there at 9.30 and were stuck in a 35 min queue though? [\Devil's advocate] Tough shit
  14. All polling stations should have shut at 10pm on the dot. If people have made it by then - tough shit. They've had 15 hours to vote FFS and the option of postal voting! Exactly. We've known what day it was going to be on for six weeks, and they've been open since 7 this morning. If you roll up at five-to-ten and there is a big queue you've only got yourself to blame imo.
  15. Are you an alter-ego for Magma? Check if he's been looking at everyone's profiles.
  16. I've been told that they want to hold it back til after the world cup now. This is because they think everyone is going to go out and buy an international shirt and that will harm the sales of club kits. Or maybe their sweatshops are flat-out making world cup shirts now and they haven't got capacity for ours. Or they don't want the W.C to deflect coverage from a NUFC kit launch.
  17. Apparently if you got a job in the Greek civil service you were guaranteed a job for life. If your position disappeared they would create another one for you. You got a bonus for turning up on time. You got a bonus for using the computer they gave you. You could take your pension at 45! (Bearing in mind these Mediterranean types live to be about 120) No wonder their country is fucked.
  18. I always wondered who bought the originals of things like Photoshop.
  19. Motherwell - Hibs finished 6-6 'well were 2-6 down with 20 minutes to go.
  20. I like the way it saunters in, then scarpers away
  21. I was going to post that. They stopped showing us as one of their live games when it became clear we weren't going to be humiliated. Still miles better that itv football coverage mind.
  22. Has Nolan forgot how awful he looked in the prem last season?
