Not sure what your point is HF...... in my view players should pay agents for ongoing services to them out of their own pocket rather than the clubs. What services do the agents provide to clubs if their clients on with the club already? The only thing clubs should pay agents for is for services to the clubs, in my book that's really facilitating transfers and even then they don't deserve massive fees for basically introducing a player. Most of the time they're representing their clients interests anyway. If clubs are just paying agents for the sake of it, basically to keep them sweet, then it looks like little more than protection money to a bunch of greedy parasites imo. However I can't pretend to know the ins and outs of what they do on a daily basis for the clubs and players so I'd be interested to know if that's unfair. I was agreeing it's a disgrace when agents are getting more compensation from the club than the manager....and not all agents combined....but just the average agent that deals with us. Ah righto. I don't think he'll sell anytime soon, not until he makes a profit somehow. I think he's hoping a rich Yank/Arab/Indian/Chinese/Russian wants their own train set to play with and makes a bumper offer.
