Is she a mackem or a smoggie?

Difficult to see what he'd add. We've already got Terry Mac to wear plastic tits and pull silly faces

Seems a lot of money to me for Keane. Anyway, all of that's a side issue. The really important question is whether Keane's goal celebration is the worst in the Prem and possibly the entire world? A combination of crappy movements into one great big crappy & embarrassing whole....the sort of thing you do with your trousers round your ankles when you've had a few too many. And all yours for 20 mill

Wise, Wisey, Denny boy, Dennis the menace, Dangermouse.

I think most people are familiar with the concept. It's more a question of what the fuck Wise actually does. I can't recall seeing much evidence of the vision being put into practice. Yet. Of course it's early days, and I'll be honest I'm more interested in the first team than what goes on behind the scenes. -

If he doesn't deliver this summer would you keep him? Only if I knew what it is that he actually does. The suspicion remains he's really a spare manager -

Results are all that count. If he gets in some quality players then he's met expectation. If he doesn't then he's the same irritating little wanky gobshite he always was as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure what the point of him is if he's not helping to improve our first team. -
Newcastle target Coloccini again to plug defence gap

I reckon he'll be fine man. Those Argies like a bit of rough and tumble. They like it up 'em? -

Marcelino was a cracking player in Spain too -
I like Billy Furious, he's usually pretty entertaining. I got his 'Quest for the Intertoto' as a prezzie, it's perfect reading material for the smallest room in the house

Do you mean the natives are revolting?

Is that below average height for a keeper in the Prem, I wonder? I suppose it's about presence not height anyway......
-
What happened to that Gemmill fella? He was pretty good, wasn't he? * Grabs coat and runs for the exit *
-
aye he's a small keeper (well he's supposedly 6ft1, but i didn't think he was near that tbh) Taylors 6"2 and looks a fair bit bigger I think he was standing on tippy-toe when they did the measuring

I enjoyed it on balance...I think it got better as it went on....the first few paras seemed to me largely based on speculation
-
Be interesting to see if he's lost his spring through age or injury. His game relies on agility imo

It's a shame when a sportsman's chances of winning a medal rely on his medical team's ability to avoid detection It's very difficult not to be cynical about modern sportsmen, no matter how much they bang on about being 'clean'. Cycling seems to be particularly rotten.

Don't get why we'd want to let N'Zogbia go. Even for a lazy journo it makes no sense
-
My guess is we'll spend 20m net tops. Depends if Shola leaves. That might reduce our transfer budget

We've got the first series here in NZ. Not one to watch with your Nan really....
-
Suspicions were aroused when he told his colleagues he liked to get stuck into some lamb every weekend
-
Personally I think we need more than 4 quality players. We're short on depth right across the pitch
-
A good summary of his playing style

We definitely bid for Ferdinand and he turned us down
Kitman replied to Snake's topic in Newcastle Forum
we need a lot more mate. It alright saying there is a while to go yet, but the season kicks off in a month. "We're all DOOMED!" -

I'm very comfortable with the scenario that Anton Ferdinand has no interest in joining us and we have no interest in signing him. If someone suggests differently I'll stick my fingers in my ears and say lalalalalalalala until they go away. I'd certainly feel a lot more confident about beating WHU if he was playing for them rather than us.
