  1. Wouldn't wish FFS on anyone. Fat Sam on the other hand might well do a job at some Mickey Mouse club, maybe he'll be next Wigan or West Brom manager but he'll never have the mentality for a real club.
  2. Still not convinced. Two swallows don't make a summer. He has looked like earning his price tag over the last three games, but there's 38 league games in the season. Even the worst players can have streaks, take a look at Carlton Cole earlier this season or Matty Taylor at Bolton.
  3. Can I ask you in all seriousness why you picked this moment to start ranting? We've won three on the trot, given up 1 goal to scoring 9, we've played better than we ever did under Fat Sam - and you pop up to slate the unpredictability of the fans? FAT SAM WAS A USELESS APPOINTMENT - END OF STORY. Stop crying about it, not like you wanted him any more than the rest of us.
  4. Vagner Love is a good striker, don't see him as really replacing either of our front three at the moment though. Zarate is going to be expensive, no doubt about it. I rate him though, he's made a promising start to his premier league career. van Buyten is excellent but ageing. Nasri will never join us, although it would be the capture of the century. Aboutreika is my African player of the year, he has done so much despite spending his entire (young) career at an African club, I think we should be making some enquiries about him.
  5. Never doubted. Where are the Thomases now? Are we still the laughingstock of the league? Keegan still getting fired three weeks into his time here? Keegan and NUFC = match made in heaven. He understands us. It's sad that it seems nobody else does, although if you listen to the media these days, they've made a remarkable turnaround, the fair-weather bastards. When we're losing, it's because Keegan's out of his depth, but when we're winning, it's because of his "tactical masterstroke" of playing 4-3-3. And when we hit a bad patch (as is bound to happen at some point) they'll drag out the tired old "past it" cliches.
  6. "harsh on Reading" what nonsense, we demolished them. 4 would've been great. MOM was Beye for me although Barton really has come into form these last few games and shown us why he should be in the team.
  7. Looks like we've secured another win here. Good goals from Martins and Owen, great performance from Beye. Saying that now we'll lose like
  8. "The Galaxy 'tied' the Dynamo today" Actually just read this paragraph from a Soccernet match report: cringeworthy focus on mindless statistics prevalent in all US sports, applied to football = ugh.
  9. Always tried to support Emre but the time has come to move on I think, he's never fit and doesn't seem to have a role to play here. He's had some flashes but sadly no consistency.
  10. Bentley would do the job for us although the notion of us getting him is a little far-fetched I'd say. Certainly Milner will need replacing before long although I can't say it's my top priority to get a right winger in. Milner could do the job for another season, he's a good lad and puts his heart into the game although he ultimately lacks quality. Too indecisive and his crosses need serious work. On the topic of overrated England players, though, none beats Steven Taylor. I wonder if Blackburn are interested in a center back?
  11. From a Soccernet article: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story...os1&cc=5901 What do you think it was about? "Respected" writer, by the way? Respected by the tea lady for how many pies he can gobble maybe.
  12. Nice to see an Englishman scoring for someone tonight. Chelsea now losing to an unbelievable goal from Deiveid (shit, don't even know how to spell the poor bastard's name but it was a cracker) This load of wallies thought they would win the Champions League?
  13. Everyone seems to be forgetting about Fenerbahce v. Chelsea, much more of a game than this borefest. Kazim-Richards has scored for the Turks, always thought he was class, bit like an English N'Zogbia, Sheff U were very shortsighted to sell him.
  14. Got the scorers wrong like but dreams do come true apparently. HOWAY
  15. all things considered, results didn't go too badly today, a brum loss would've really been nice but bolton lost in the end which is what matters most.
  16. There he go's again he talks so much shit its unreal im sure France turned us over 2-1 in the euro's and owen a decent bet dont waste your money ....Stevies problem is he underates every single team You must have a long history with Stevie considering your 7 posts (all about him) and that you joined today. He's often full of shit especially with match predictions but he's all right and certainly knows his football. Calling him a plastic Geordie probably ranks among the top 5 most laughable posts on this board. Anyone know the whereabouts of Tribal, R|CO or Thompers? Would put money on this clown being one of the above.
  17. http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/Pre...oduct_info.html Looks canny if I'm honest. Cut above the other horrific tripe that went by the name of "keeper tops" at that point.
  18. Fickle? Don't be fucking stupid... they're from London. The fact that they still get poor crowds for CL games is irrelevant. What nonsense man, they're die-hard super fans who've followed Chelsea for forty years and will be buried at Stamford Bridge. How could you!
  19. Took our feet off the pedal there in the second half of that period. Desperately need another goal, can't believe some of the misses (Owen especially) and some good saves from Keller. We must score again, these jokers could well pip one from a free kick or some such.
  20. Very well done that, Martins. More of that and this win is sealed.
  21. Lot of clowning and misplaced passes from both sides. We need to tighten up.
  22. Hope King Kev saw the positives of leaving Smith on the bench last game and continues this bright idea. Wouldn't mind seeing a repeat of last game's squad, rather the Zog or Duff be included in the midfield to add some attack however. I feel like Fulham are there for the taking if we only go after them.
  23. His gob never stops running. I feel like if he spent more time training and learning some positioning and marking he wouldn't keep getting caught out, causing our defence problems which inevitably lead to conceding goals, which make us lose games, which make us slide down the table until he's too embarassed to look. You reading this, Geordie boy Tayls? He started promising but his ego (no doubt egged on by daddy dear) has got the better of him now, to the point where he thinks he no longer has to work for it. I'm sure he has to keep a broom at hand to beat back Arsenal and Chelsea agents from his front door.
