Sven trying to send a message? What message I don't know. "Keep me as manager and we'll keep getting pounced like this?" Or is it the players saying we want to keep him on? Or is it just City being terrible?

That Trundle goal at 5:49 was truly magnificent though, reminded me of the Shearer volley against Villa.

Can this shitty rag string more than one line together without a paragraph break? Talking like this doesn't make what you have to say any more important. ...back on topic, if Arsenal can hold on to some of the ridiculous talent they have on the bench and in their reserves, they'll be winning the league with no trouble in five years. But that's if an impatient fanbase, spurred on by press shit-stirring, doesn't have him out before then.

Legendary.

I don't think I've ever laughed as hard. This thread is pure classic and win.

Anywhere but here. He's a classic NUFC player though, past it and on an absolutely ridiculous contract. We'll probably sign him for a four-year deal and he'll break his metatarsal with ligament damage and flange splintering two weeks in.

This has got to be the worst Those UFO-watch frequencies don't count as "on the radio." As much chance of Keegan going as there is of War of the Worlds in Trafalgar Square tomorrow. You can bet your bottom (pound) that the Daily Mail have their telescope out tonight though, waiting for the mothership to land.

This is such obvious nonsense it's disgraceful. Someone should read this "insider" the riot act.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtm...fnveloso128.xml From late November 2007. Latest suggests we might be in for him. Although I'm not going to say it's likely we'll sign him, it isn't as hopeless as the above article which is dated suggests. yes it is. Is it compulsory, this desire to be negative in every post? Believe, man. Deluded. Torres? Is that you?

Agreed it just sounds like an average meeting between manager and owner, just been built up by the press so people like Torres can get all excited that our club might be in turmoil. I think he needs to look a bit closer to home for that one. or about 850 miles away from it The anti-outsider thing is really amazing. For a club who`s best players (so many foreigners) and manager are not from Newcastle and who are run from London ...it`s really amazing. What xenophobia. No wonder you can`t attract any players. Your club is well and truly fucked. Aye, you've caught us. Figured us out. We can't hide anything from you. ...well, now that you've cracked the code, no reason to be here any longer, right?

Duff set to leave Newcastle in summer after disappointing spell
acrossthepond replied to Torres's topic in Newcastle Forum
Hey guys, what's happening in this thread like? Oh. Torres getting owned. Well, carry on then. -
Abject nonsense. We lose a game and suddenly now we're in some sort of deadly tailspin that will undoubtedly end in KK being sacked and Mike Ashley selling out. Who pays these people to come up with this? Do you think I could get a job writing back page stories for these two-bit rags? Surely the Man City circus must be more interesting at this point than a few comments made by KK and some invented "backlash" story...?

Kevin Keegan confronts grim reality at Newcastle United
acrossthepond replied to ewerk's topic in Newcastle Forum
Go to hell, Samuel. Not long ago it was "NUFC confronts the grim reality of relegation" or "NUFC confronts the grim reality that KK isn't good enough." I have full faith in KK to bring us forward. If forward is 6th (or even 7th or 8th) so be it. It'll still be better than the last four years of absolute hopeless shite. These people will never understand. -
To be fair it's not like Wigan have much chance of beating Man U one way or the other. I'd also like to see Chelsea win so I'm not too put off by the result. Hopefully we can still beat Everton and end on a high note.
-
0-2 Malouda. That's us done then. Sad to see the unbeaten run end but I never really expected anything else here today.
-
They're riding their luck now with that deflection from Martins' shot and that miss by Owen. We might still have some left in the tank.
-
Really not sure who told Alan Smith he's a footballer. He's spent more time on the ground than on his feet, and he's not even diving - he just lunges for the ball every time and misses it, or gets muscled easily. Pathetic.
-
0-1 Ballack. Header from free kick, that was never a foul from Faye either.
-
Getting battered. Taylor's been incredible though.
-
Nowt. We've both been fairly poor. Very slow game. Can't say I'm displeased with the 0-0, would really like to see more from us though.

Why's it on so early like? Just woke up, missed the first 15 because I thought it'd be on at 7:45 or something.
