Who isn't at this club? The bleeding tea lady probably fancies a move to join Pochettino's new cafeteria staff at Tottenham.

The karate kick in the 5-1 is still unbelievable. I'll miss him. In a way it's good that he's going as his presence no longer gives us the illusion of striking cover (not that that's likely to make a difference in our recruitment policy.)

Not sure I'd pay £40 for him, let alone £40 mil. He's far too unreliable to be a world class player. Honestly rather have Colo. As far as the left-back debate goes, Dummett is horrific and his free-kicks toward the end of the season became almost a parody of himself. We're much better off keeping Haidara. -
Adopted Palace shortly after the Cabaye sale as a second team. If you pieced together our first half of the season and their second, would that be a champions league qualifying team? Europa league I would think at worst.

Well, I for one am absolutely flabbergasted at the lack of ambition shown by the club. I thought we really might've been going places this summer. Truly stunned. ...za-fuckin-za.

That are also proficient at household chores.

Nowhere close to Premier League level. He'll be turning out in League 1 soon for Scunthorpe or Preston. Good luck to the lad but he was never going to make it here.

Thought it was a massive success by the standards of our recent so-called protests i.e. coffin march, feeble (and quite possibly self-serving) dissent from NUST, etc. This was a protest that actually happened, that fans supported even if they did not walk out themselves, that coincided with the fiercest dissent from home fans in years and with complimentary coverage from local and national press. The message has been sent, not by patchy groups of our fans, but by all of them (barring the contrary cunt on here who would argue up was down if the majority gave the opposite opinion.) Pretty sure Pardew got the message loud and clear. Ashley did as well - what he's going to do about it remains the question. I'd say probably nothing, which would then prompt some to question what the point of protesting is if it's unlikely to change anything. I don't know, but it's better than paying good money to see the utter garbage we've been served up this season, and the idea of our fans getting organised against him might actually cause the fat one a little distress, if he starts thinking about ST renewals. We'll wait and see.

Meanwhile, CT was crying for Pardew's head last season while others advocated patience. How could anyone think this season is an improvement or that Pardew deserves more time? We had a good run at the start of the year with our best player playing himself into a move (and the WC) and a player we don't even own bagging some good goals. Since January literally everything has gone to shit. The football has been diabolical, far worse than even last year's tripe. We would be relegated if the league started on New Year's Day. Now, much of that blame has to go to the fat one for not strengthening the squad (and no NUFC fan is slow to blame Ashley when he needs blaming) but the abominable run we've been on is not down to Fat Mike or the players, it's down to Pardew's embarrassing antics, shite tactics, arselicking attitude, and horrific team selections. There's no future for him at this club, whether we spend 5 pounds or 500 million pounds. -
Surprisingly positive coverage from Sky Sports actually, portraying it as a symbolic strike at Ashley and Pardew, which is exactly what it was meant to be. Just as well we were winning, since if we'd been losing and more had walked out, we'd never have heard the end of the "fickle fans" line being trotted out. Obviously I only saw it on TV but the atmosphere in the ground sounded really cracking, both supportive of the team and hostile toward the frauds in charge of it. When we scored and it was answered by a chorus of the FCB song, I knew that even the home fans had now had enough of the shit we've been putting up with, so good on them.

So shit he needs to be put in the shop window for a free transfer. -
Rather he didn't stay if he's not going to be committed. He's been just as shit for most of this season - that abominable crab-walk defence against Emnes in the Swansea game is etched in my mind - and we need leaders right now, not guff and uncertain levels of application. Give the armband to Tiote IMO, he always gives his all.
-
Odds on OP being a BNP-loving sack of shit who gets his rocks off moaning to other miserable cunts in pubs about how the country's gone down the toilet?
-
Bahahahahahahahaha you fucking scum. Howay Palace, this definitely cements them as my second team. All is forgiven, Pulis.
-
I think he reckoned he'd put in the hard graft today, which he had, and he wanted a goal for himself. At 3-0 it's one thing, at 0-0 he would've been hounded to the dogs and back. Whoop de fuckin' doo, we won. I don't think I've ever cared less about a NUFC win. It was just the tonic for fucking Pardew, who will now ridicule the fans in his interview, if he doesn't dedicate the win to 'Mike.' Fuck off the lot of them, roll on the end of this abominable season.
-
Fuck off Taylor.

Proving that you actually have to try to make stripes look like shit. Somehow we manage it at an astonishing rate.

Talk is cheap (astonishingly cheap for the bullshit merchants we have running the club.) I can't think of any other owner in the league who'd be prepared to sanction a major spending spree and decide that Alan Pardew was the man he trusted to manage those new players. In the end we'll see how it comes out, but I don't believe a word of this. -
Sad thing is, I can see this too. Cardiff are so dire that we probably have enough in the tank to beat them, and the cracks (chasms) will be papered over. An early goal for Cardiff though and the atmosphere will certainly turn nasty quick.
-
Hoping for a home loss by a considerable amount. We will surely lose to Liverpool on the last day of the season. Why not make it 8 straight? Di Canio was sacked for a "better" record. Surely even Pardew, that slimy cunt, cannot survive 8 losses on the trot.
-
Taxi for Pardew!
-
Hoping we truly get howked now. 5 or 6 would do. Anything to shift this fuckwit who claims to be our manager.
-
Doesn't give a fuck like the rest of that shower of shit that wear our colours.

US history in this country is an exercise in self-delusion. Textbooks whitewash it to such a degree that it's ludicrous. I shudder to think how America's history is taught in the 46 states between NY and CA, but luckily we're progressive in New York, and I also have the advantage of teaching mostly immigrants (something like 96% of our school is kids from the Dominican Republic, with the other 4% black - no white kids at all in our 600-strong school) so I'm getting kids who haven't already been brainwashed into thinking Andrew Jackson was a hero or that America has always been a champion of democracy (tell that to Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, Nicaragua, Haiti, etc before even getting into the modern era.) Kids here take 2 years of US in middle school (grades 7 and 8), one more in high school (grade 9), and 2 years of global history in 10 and 11 before a class on economics and government in grade 12.

As I'm a history teacher, this is kind of my thing. I love the feudal period of Europe but my real passion is the history of the Ottoman Empire. I spent my honeymoon in Istanbul (somewhere you must see before you die) and was amazed by how well preserved both the Byzantine and Ottoman structures and legacy are there. My day job is teaching U.S. history, however. Not my passion but interesting enough, I suppose.
