He'll be fat as fuck Ant, I love him too but that doesn't excuse the condition he's been in over the past season and a half. Time to cut our losses, sad to say. Pardew can't manage him, he's not disciplined enough to do what needs doing on his own, so it's not going to work out here. If Pardew'd been replaced over the summer I could see it.

The state of that top, man. Paneled, two-tone sleeves, pinstrips running down the sides, ughhhhhh. -
Don't knock it till you tried it, Fish me lad. p.s. that wasn't a come-on.

That would just about make the Debuchy deal worth it. Of course player exchanges almost never happen. Janmaat in to replace Debuchy, with Campbell joining as part of the deal, please. After that I'll recline in my Coca-Cola jacuzzi while getting noshed off by Adriana Lima and Kate Upton, taking turns.

The apology that read thusly: "The truth is that my colleague Chiellini suffered the physical result of a bite in the collision he suffered with me." Not, "I bit the poor son of a bitch", but "he collided with my astonishingly protrusive teeth and therefore was damaged in the manner of a bite without me ever biting him." False contrition is twice as bad.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/9365528/transfer-news-alan-pardew-suggests-english-players-out-of-newcastles-reach First it was we'll get our business done before the WC, then it was the WC is making it hard to do deals, now it's English players cost too much. Excuses well in order for when we close out the transfer window with no other business beside re-signing Shola. -
Abominable. What is so hard about black and white stripes? No trim, no vampire collar, no pinstripes or houndstooth or whatever the hell that white bar across Watford's is. Just black and white stripes. That's it.

Incredibly small-time response from the mackems. Just that alone warms me a little to this signing.

He's also a correspondingly better player than Gosling, but I agree that 50k a week for a squad player seems high - any confirmation of that number?

All depends on how he's going to be used. If he's the Gosling replacement, he'll be a good squad player and good business on a free. If he's the Cabaye replacement, we're going to be relegated. We'll have to wait and see.

I'd rather have Leazes on than this boring cunt. Can we just ban him (again, for the 500th time) now? I really don't want to sit through the next 3 months of every thread being taken over with his tiresome shit.

10 appearances or less in our colours.

Wasting our time on youth. We are not invested in the cups, which are an ideal place to give youth a run, and none of our youth players ever trouble the starters. This Perez lad will end up going out on loan to Rotherham or Accies or somewhere like that, then eventually transfer to a League 1/low Championship side without ever playing a game in black and white. Waste of potential and waste of money. This club is a youth player's graveyard. -
Not convinced Rooney should be starting. I don't think he adds much to the first XI. He has never looked the business while playing for England and I don't think the drive is there any more. Lambert looked far more threatening.

Sounds like it's had a nightmare of a PC launch. Another AAA producer who can't get a launch right, mostly because they seem to have favoured Nvidia graphics cards over AMD, but also because they insist on using that utter POS uPlay. When are these companies going to realise that Steam is an infinitely better platform than whatever they have and stop routing their shitty middleman programs through it?

Who isn't at this club? The bleeding tea lady probably fancies a move to join Pochettino's new cafeteria staff at Tottenham.
-
The karate kick in the 5-1 is still unbelievable. I'll miss him. In a way it's good that he's going as his presence no longer gives us the illusion of striking cover (not that that's likely to make a difference in our recruitment policy.)

Not sure I'd pay £40 for him, let alone £40 mil. He's far too unreliable to be a world class player. Honestly rather have Colo. As far as the left-back debate goes, Dummett is horrific and his free-kicks toward the end of the season became almost a parody of himself. We're much better off keeping Haidara. -
Adopted Palace shortly after the Cabaye sale as a second team. If you pieced together our first half of the season and their second, would that be a champions league qualifying team? Europa league I would think at worst.
-
Well, I for one am absolutely flabbergasted at the lack of ambition shown by the club. I thought we really might've been going places this summer. Truly stunned. ...za-fuckin-za.

That are also proficient at household chores.

Nowhere close to Premier League level. He'll be turning out in League 1 soon for Scunthorpe or Preston. Good luck to the lad but he was never going to make it here.

Thought it was a massive success by the standards of our recent so-called protests i.e. coffin march, feeble (and quite possibly self-serving) dissent from NUST, etc. This was a protest that actually happened, that fans supported even if they did not walk out themselves, that coincided with the fiercest dissent from home fans in years and with complimentary coverage from local and national press. The message has been sent, not by patchy groups of our fans, but by all of them (barring the contrary cunt on here who would argue up was down if the majority gave the opposite opinion.) Pretty sure Pardew got the message loud and clear. Ashley did as well - what he's going to do about it remains the question. I'd say probably nothing, which would then prompt some to question what the point of protesting is if it's unlikely to change anything. I don't know, but it's better than paying good money to see the utter garbage we've been served up this season, and the idea of our fans getting organised against him might actually cause the fat one a little distress, if he starts thinking about ST renewals. We'll wait and see.

Meanwhile, CT was crying for Pardew's head last season while others advocated patience. How could anyone think this season is an improvement or that Pardew deserves more time? We had a good run at the start of the year with our best player playing himself into a move (and the WC) and a player we don't even own bagging some good goals. Since January literally everything has gone to shit. The football has been diabolical, far worse than even last year's tripe. We would be relegated if the league started on New Year's Day. Now, much of that blame has to go to the fat one for not strengthening the squad (and no NUFC fan is slow to blame Ashley when he needs blaming) but the abominable run we've been on is not down to Fat Mike or the players, it's down to Pardew's embarrassing antics, shite tactics, arselicking attitude, and horrific team selections. There's no future for him at this club, whether we spend 5 pounds or 500 million pounds.
