Well I think you're gonna be disappointed. I think if we can get £130m for him this window, and just move on from the whole mess, that would be preferable. OK so what is your real world solution to this though? Not I want him liquidised in the canteen blender. What is your realistic solution? If the player is just saying I will never play for the club again, even saying right well we keep him and we fine him every week for the next three years, and we make him train by himself etc. That's still a huge drain on the club.

I agree with most of what Edwards has said, other than his claim it is "weak". I think that's unfair, and he would be better off majoring in the fact that the club didn't realise that Alexander Isak was such an amoral piece of shit.

I don't think we're gonna get £150m for him, and as satisfying as it sounds I don't think the "make him rot" thing is an option either. Honestly I think £150m was largely a "not for sale" sign, rather than a number that we expected to get paid. Once we decide that he is for sale, £130m is more like what the actual price will be.
