I agree with most of what Edwards has said, other than his claim it is "weak". I think that's unfair, and he would be better off majoring in the fact that the club didn't realise that Alexander Isak was such an amoral piece of shit.

I don't think we're gonna get £150m for him, and as satisfying as it sounds I don't think the "make him rot" thing is an option either. Honestly I think £150m was largely a "not for sale" sign, rather than a number that we expected to get paid. Once we decide that he is for sale, £130m is more like what the actual price will be.

Nice one ta. I usually cane the side quests to make sure I'm not gonna get brayed as the missions get harder in the main story. But I'll give them a skip if I can this time. 👍

Nah I've gone in with 1. Couldn't cope with not knowing what I'd missed.

It's a thankless task being a promotion winning manager. It so frequently results in the sack, even though it's nowt to do with your management skills.
-
Is your position still that he's staying and will be reintegrated?
-
I think that was true prior to the statement. I'm not so sure anymore.
-
Aye I'd go along with that. Basically he's a good footballer, but we can't ignore the fact he's been a giant cunt all summer and everyone now fucking hates and doesn't trust him.
-
Wissa not expected to be in the Brentford squad v the mackems tomorrow. And Spurs are signing Xavi Simons from Leipzig, which might mean they'll drop any last minute plans to try and snatch Wissa.
-
He did confirm that he still hasn't spoken to Isak since his statement came out, so I think he's basically written the bloke off. The problem with answering the question is that it's somewhat out of our control. If Liverpool attempt to take the piss on valuation, we might find ourselves unwilling to sell him for that reason, even if we'd like to move him on for every other reason.

Follow up question: Could Alexander Isak and Nick Woltemade play alongside one another? Answer: Yes.... But.... One isn't available to pick, and the other we haven't signed, so that gives it a bit of context.
-
This was in response to whether he has a preference on reintegrate or sell.
-
Felt like a set up question, but probably wasn't, but Edwards asked Howe "there is a narrative out there this summer that you told Isak that you needed to sign a replacement before he could be sold. Is that true?" To which Howe replied "absolutely not".
-
Waugh reckons the number is definitely 21.
-
Howe saying we're still active in the market and we still think there are opportunities. Wouldn't offer anything on Isak's future beyond drawing a finger across his throat.
-
The Champions League is about to become the latest tournament that doesn't look that strong anymore.
-
Probably already been discussed on here, but Waugh was saying that we can only register a squad of 21 for the CL (instead of the 25 allowed), due to a lack of home grown players. Not great, and some are gonna miss out on being part of the squad as a result. I assume 21 is far enough down the list so that you're not leaving anyone that you'd miss out, but that changes with injuries.

I'm not telling anyone how to parent.
