I think it is probably bollocks. The only thing I would say is re Hope's story about the club ownership going to Isak's house. It's clear from everything he's written that other than the bare fact that they went to his house, he has no idea what was discussed. So if your mate is right then it could be that the discussion was about his move, and how it would be handled etc. I think it's almost impossible in the modern era to do something like that and keep it secret though. There are too many potential leaks, too many avenues through which to make the leak, and frankly there's just money to be made from leaking. The other thing to say is Howe's change since last week. He now says he hasn't spoken to the player since he made his statement, he made some comment that "we need things to be resolved quickly, and it now looks like it will be", and also his line that he is not involved in any discussions with the player. All of which could be a) dropping breadcrumbs as to what's happened and b) to distance himself from what he sees as a bad idea. However! I don't believe it.
