  1. I wonder if they're now in the spot we've been in for the past few windows. Right up against it on PSR and needing to sell to buy.
  2. One of the fan channels is streaming live on the headline ELANGA BID ACCEPTED! and then having to clarify that "I'm just so pleased to be able to bring you the news that the bid is on the verge of being accepted" These shameless twats. "I'm live streaming Craig Hope's headline. I don't have anything more than what you've already read yourselves, but give me your clicks anyway."
  3. "on the verge of agreeing a deal" Lets see how big this verge is.
  4. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14873281/Newcastle-Man-United-Eddie-Howe-Anthony-Elanga.html Hope reporting we've bid £55m for Elanga now.
  5. Why are they chopping the lad's head off as if he's sending anonymous dick pics?
  6. Michael Madsen has died. Reservoir Dogs ear slicer.
  7. After Sunderland do it next season, EVERYONE is going to want to get relegated.
  8. It's a shame it'll have his name associated with it. I know he has a big and very loyal following on the left, but nobody outside of that specific group has any time for the bloke and he's regarded as a bit of a joke.
  9. Is that the Reform UK Ltd lad?
  10. The human Glade air-unfreshener. Pffft.
  11. Tell there's only room for one clit hero this weekend.
  12. That looks class. It'll be full of Tory cunts, but a lovely place. I had a week down there, staying at an Airbnb in Piddlehinton. Fucking Piddlehinton!
  13. I'm sure they sit. There could be turds all over their bathroom otherwise.
  14. I considered the sniff test, but I thought it would be too easy to misjudge and be left with shit on your nose. And how does a blind person know when they've finished washing shit off their nose?
  15. I'd forgotten about it until my deaf postman rang the Ring doorbell when I was out with the dog at lunchtime.
  16. I was medicated last night and found myself wondering how blind people know when they've finished wiping their arse. I nearly posed the question on here but fortunately realised it was absolutely rank stoner patter. I'll be on Joe Rogan's podcast before the year's out.
  17. Well....her and Toonpack.
  18. Average UK house price was £19,273 in 1980. It had more than trebled to £58,250 by 1990. The largest five year increase in house prices in the last 45 years was 109%, which took place from 1985 to 1990. A frankly unbelievably fortunate time to already be a homeowner. And that percentage growth from 1980 to today is over 1,300%. Those boomer homeowners trudging through the 80s had it TOUGH.
  19. Fuck sake. What generation was running these corporations? They weren't running themselves. The hole in the ozone layer was discovered in 1985. It took til 2010 to ban CFCs. I suppose it was the youth of the 90s who resisted for those 25 years? And aye, you had kids in the 80s but I bet you were living in a house you had a £5k mortgage on. Not your fault, but a simple fact that housing was relatively incredibly cheap back then. Whether you like it or not, this is the things kids today feel resentful for, and they get the "bloody snowflakes!" treatment. Anyway I get enough of this shit from my mam, BOOMER. Away with you.
  20. Ok well let's say you're right. You're not, and I'm absolutely blown away that you lived through the 80s and don't think that that was a decade of rampant disposable consumerism. But let's say you're right and it started in the 90s. Who is benefitting from that rampant, disposable consumerism? By which I mean who is profiting. Who is the driving force behind designed obsolescence? Who is making money from turning everyone into consumers and convincing them that they need the next thing now. It's not the youth of today or even the youth of the 90s. It's fucking boomers. They're the ones getting rich off it and they are (largely) the ones who have resisted every call to say "lads we're completely fucking the planet here, can we maybe think about not doing this".
  21. Disposable consumerism has been rampant since the 80s. It was basically invented by boomers.
  22. So here is the other thing I heard the other day. First was Howe being described as sounding quite low. Then I heard "Mitchell" and "don't know if I'm just being paranoid but sounds to me like sabotage of a transfer deal". Uesless info really cos we're never going to know exactly what was being spoken about, but speculate away!
  23. Tough one when it's your missus saying that stuff. Sounds like she needs to spend some time in the Toontastic Re-education Camp. Get that woman a login!
